Being one of the first successful, non-oriental K-pop idols was fun but hard at the same time. There was conflict between whether I should be allowed to be a K-pop idol or not. Despite my non-oriental features, my girl group - Miss International - became a big hit. Our group overtook twice and any other girl group like Girls generation in terms of fame.

My managers believed it was because of me - the foreigner. (F/N) (L/N), a girl with (H/C) hair, (E/C)ed eyes from (Country). Before moving to Korea, I was tremendously into K-pop. The dancing, the singing, the visuals, all of it drew me in. I fell in love with the culture, the music, everything Korea had to offer. I was so in love that I gave up my lifestyle back home to move to Korea to become an idol.

Now I was being offered a chance to continue in my girl group and become a single idol. I was thrilled. My first single that was released became a big hit among Korea and Japan and grew some fame even in America. Despite the hits that it got, I still needed to obtain more recognition.

The Uni+, idol reboot program. As soon as I saw it and who else was auditioning, I knew I had to audition too. I signed up the first chance I got.
