Like magic

Euijin's face was so close that I could feel his breath fan against my face.I had yet to move towards him but as I saw him falter a little, almost about to back away. I took the initiative to close the space remaining. As my lips touched his, I could feel my face heat up. His lips were soft and I could smell the cherry lip balm he had applied minutes ago. The kiss was magical. Euijin placed his hand on my cheek to try and make the kiss more sensual by softly caressing it. Euijin licked my both lip, before I opened my mouth.

As soon as I opened my mouth to let Euijin kiss me properly, Euijin swiveled his body so he was now laying on top of me. I feel his hands travel to my waist in an endearing way before I heard the door open.

"Woah, are we interrupting something?"

"(First name), I never expected you to do it in a work space."

I heard the chimes of my group before Euijin and I quickly pulled away, obviously fluster at the unexpected presence.

"I can explain."

"Why (first name)? There's no need to, although, I thought you'd at least tell us."

"We weren't- we aren't."

"What (first name) is trying to say is that we aren't together."

"Why not?"

Euijin and I looked at each other and shrugged.

"I guess it's because we're focused on our debut."

Euijin's excuse was the truth and very believable. The girls of Miss International decided to group together and discuss before all walking out of the studio, but not before winking at me, leaving me even more flustered than before.

"So... want to get dinner?" Euijin seemed just as flustered.

"Dinner sounds wonderful."

Dinner wasn't as awkward as I thought it would be, we held conversation as if the kiss hadn't happened. The kiss was brought up once and we both decided that it was best not to date at this point in time. At least not until we had finished with the Uni+ and the single with BIGFLO was released. Afterwards, Euijin drove me home and even walked me to the door. He gave me a hug before pulling away and giving me a small peck and whispering words that kept me up all night.

It was like a song stuck in my head. 'Even if it isn't until after we are finished the Uni+, I do want to take you on a date.' Euijin seemed so nervous, as if I would reject him. His voice was strong and didn't waver, but when I looked at him, his ears were a red tint and he looked everywhere but my eyes before waving goodbye and leaving.

Of course when I reached the dorm, the girls bombarted me with questions about Euijin and the kiss. I evaded every question before relaxing in bed.

The next time that I saw Euijin was when we had activities for UNB and UNG. The boys were schedule to go to the zoo and see the animals, where as the girls Unit was on a different track. We got to briefly see each other while getting on to the buses. I gave a shy wave to him, as he sent one straight back. On the bus, I received a text from Euijin, to my surprise.

'It's been a week since we last saw each other, did I make it awkward between us? I'm sorry if I did, if I didn't meet me at the studio at six pm if you're done filming?'

Before I could reply, the girls started chatting to me and I decided to answer the text later.

Later turned into an 'after filiming' sort of thing and by then I had forgotten about the text. I finished filming and went home. When the clock struck 5:35 and I was clad in my pajama's, I remember the text. Instead of replying, I rushed to get ready. I walked to the studio and made it by 6:02.

When I arrived, I didn't see Euijin anywhere. He couldn't be in the building because he didn't have a key. Had he left already? Was he running late? I waited for him.

By 6:45 I was cold and I knew Euijin wasn't coming and started heading back. As I was walking, I saw a car that looked like Euijin's go past and I thought about how I hadn't even texted him back. I pulled out my phone to text Euijin, when the same car pulled up next to me. The window wound down and inside was Euijin, with a concerned look.

"What the hell are you doing?"

Euijin got out and ran over to my side before opening the door to the car. I quickly got in with Euijin's ushering. The car was warm and I could feel my face again. Euijin got back into the car and started driving again.

"You didn't even text back, so I didn't think you wanted to see me."

I looked over at Euijin in shock, he looked sad and worried.

"Your group members texted me that you had gone out without warning and wanted to know if I had seen you. Man, I didn't know what to do."

I heard Euijin sigh before taking a deep breath.

"Thank you, thank you for turning up. I was so scared that I had messed up. I'm not really good with girls and I haven't had a girlfriend or even a crush on a girl since I was in high school - before my trainee days."

"I don't think you could ever mess up."

The rest of the car ride was sat in comfortable silence with music playing softly in the background. Euijin even held my hand as he drove due to the car being automatic. We easily pasted my dorm and drove for a while more before we pulled up in front of a building I didn't recognise.

"I hope you don't mind..."

Euijin didn't say any more before he got out of the car and moved round to my side and give me a hand out. He held my hand softly before locking the car and walking inside.
