Dinner Discussions

Then the doorbell rang.

I froze my pacing and looked nervously at the door as my fellow group member - Haru - opened the door. I missed most of the conversation before I heard ' please come in'. I placed a small smile on my face as Euijin entered the apartment. 

He was dressed in smart, casual attire and a cute smile adorned his face. This boy was the definition on perfect. His eyes scanned the room before his eyes caught on me. His smile broadened and his deep-resting happy lines got deeper before giving me a nod. I swiftly walk across the room before he offers a; 'hey, ready to go?'

We both bid our goodbyes to the girls before we get into the car. Euijin jumped in the driver seat looking a little nervous.

"Don't drive often?"

"My manager usually drives me around."

With that, he starts the car and turns on the music. The ride was about thirty minutes long and was consumed by Euijin and I singing to any and every song that came on. The drive was so fun that I was almost disappointed when we arrives. Almost. 

Euijin pulled into the car park lot of my favourite restaurant - Motto Motto. He looked at me, trying to read my expression.

"I wasn't sure where to take you, so I decided on my favourite restaurant. I hope you don't mind."

"Are you kidding? This is like my all time favourite restaurant as well. They're pork buns are so good."

I saw his smile falter a little at my rhetorical question, but his smile became so wide afterwards that I could see small white flashes of teeth between his lips. 

Euijin got out first and as I went to follow, he raced around the car and opened the door - a true gentleman. After a small 'thank you', we were heading inside to be seated. We both ordered pork buns and classic style Ramen, due to the Japanese themed restaurant. While waiting, I pulled out the paperwork.

"Okay, so I was thinking, maybe was should do a feature song together and then like, we could do a song with all of BIGFLO. What do you think?"

I'm sure the members would love to do a single with you, but are you sure you want to do a single with just me? My specialty is dance."

"I'm aware, but you can sing too, I've heard it when we're at the Uni+. Which also brings me to the next point, how would you feel about creating all of the choreography? I know that normally we have assistance with that, but I want to see what you want to do."

"I mean, if you really think I'm up to par, then I'll happily do it."

"Great, so I was thinking that we could do our single first and then work with the rest of the BIGFLO members on the other single? Maybe do a meeting with them after our single is released?"

"Sounds great."

The rest of dinner consisted of us arranging times to compose the song and practice for the dance, as well as getting to know each other better by asking questions and cracking jokes. Dinner overall was enjoyable and my cheeks were hurting after from smiling so much. When Euijin suggested that we leave, I knew my disappointment was evident on my face.

"How about we go get dessert?"

My eyes lit up at the sound of something sweet and spending more time with Euijin. We decided to walk to a place, which I didn't complaint at since it was going to take longer. I would take any extra minutes I could get with Euijin. 

The ice cream parlor had so many different flavors to choose from and I decided on (F/F) and Euijin tried something from his usual. While walking to a near by park, we even tasted each others ice creams, an indirect kiss of sorts. Neither of us thought about this until the spoons had been in each others mouths and then we laughed about it. 

The night ended at Eleven when Euijin dropped me back home. Even five hours was too soon for it to end but it was so enjoyable that we agreed that even after the song was released, we would meet up for some sort of breakfast/lunch/dinner every month together. 

After getting ready for bed, I tried to sleep for the Uni+ tomorrow, know I would need my energy, but all I could think about was the best moments of the night and Euijin's adorably, bright smile.
