A Fan's Bias

"We got word that you were a fan of someone on this show before you joined."

The reasons these words scared me a little? I didn't want Euijin to think that I was some crazed stalker, fan. My eyes quickly dart over to the boys and I see a glimpse of Euijin before I look away. The way his hair is dyed brown suited him so well, his cute little smile with the deep-resting happy lines. I knew Euijin was kind and he always seemed so happy and genuine, I'm sure he'd be thrilled to have a fan, right?

"Aha, that's right Rain. I'm very proud on how far he's made it on this show."

"Do you believe that he can make it to number one tonight?"

"I have no doubt in my mind or heart that he will make it. He's amazing."

"Do you hear that, Euijin? You've got a fan!"

I look over to Euijin and he seems a little confused. He points to himself for a second before it clicks. His bright smile returns again and it honestly touches my heart.

"Thank you (Stage name)."

The way he addressed me by my stage name and did a little bow simply touched my heart.

The night finished and Euijin managed to place second, maintaining his original standing. Even though he wasn't first, I was still proud of how far he had gotten. After the show, as we were leaving, Euijin caught up with me before I left.

"Hey, (stage name)! I just wanted to say that I really appreciate your support and to thank you for supporting me before and during the Uni+."

"O-oh. Uh, it's no problem! I just really love how dedicated BIGFLO is and how nice and genuine you are to everyone."

"Thank you, I also appreciate your group and I'm excited to see how far your single debut will take you."

I gave a slight bow, which Euijin returned before he started walking over to the rest of BIGFLO who were waiting for him to finish.

"E-Euijin!"

He turned around, a little surprised that I called out to him. He hadn't gotten very far, so he made his way back to me in a matter of seconds.

"I was thinking, maybe you'd like to be in my next song as a solo artist. Like a feature in dancing or singing? You can say no and obviously you'd have to talk to your manager. I've already discussed with mine about featuring and-"

My rambling was cut off when I looked at Euijin's face properly. He had a bright smile and he was nodding his head.

"I'll ask my manager, maybe we could discuss this over dinner tomorrow night?"

"I would love that."

We exchanged numbers before leaving.

That night, I couldn't sleep. I continued fretting over what to wear to dinner with Euijin. Would it be just us? Was his manager coming? Should I bring mine? Where are we eating? In the end, my group had to calm me down and they helped me pick out what to wear. A cute outfit, (F/C) in colour was chosen and I loved it. Everything was set and I didn't realise how tired I was because as soon as I closed my eyes, I drifted off to sleep, only to be woken by my alarm the next day.

Today, we had to go back to the Uni+ to hear what the next mission was before we got a day break and then start the mission. A live concert was our next and last mission. We wrote who we wanted as our top pick and the song we wanted before we were released for the day.

I made my way home to prepare for dinner tonight. I took off my stage make up before I put on something more natural that matched the outfit. I was ready an hour before Euijin had agreed to pick me up. He texted me after the Uni+ asking if 6pm was okay and that he would pick me up at the apartment to go to dinner. I started getting paperwork and everything else ready before shoving it into my bag and pacing around the living room. The other members of Miss international watched as I paced. I knew my pacing was making them nervous by the looks on their faces, but they knew whatever they were planning to say wouldn't calm me down in any way or make me sit down.

And then we heard the doorbell.
