Second Chances - Lee Euijin x Reader

The Uni+

"Now introducing the next contestant - (Stage name)."

I walk out on the stage less than confident. This wasn't like one of my concerts with the girls, I was starting anew. I was no longer just (Stage name) of Miss International. I was now (Stage name) of Miss International and single artist.

"(Stage name), I'm curious, why did you decide to join The Uni+? Your group is so successful."

The one and only - Rain.

"W-well, I've just a month ago released a single as a solo artist as well and I'd rather create my own fame then have to ride off the coattails of my groups fame."

"Well, that's as good as a reason as any. Please, proceed."

The song starts. Most Girls starts to play. I memorise all of the dance moves I've practiced, all the lyrics and the different tune adjustments, the end part that I changed to show how powerfully I could hold a note, all of it was perfect and that's when I opened my eyes. The look shifted to one that alluded confidence.

Half way through my performance, the stage lit up in a rainbow like colour. I didn't stop, I didn't know what it meant either, so I became more fierce with my dancing and singing. At the end I was tired, but it was so worth it. No matter what, I knew I would have no regrets, no matter the results.

"(Stage Name)."

"Yes Rain?"

"Do you see this rainbow colour on the stage? Do you know what it means?"

"No?"

"SUPERBOOT"

SanE seemed more excited then even the crowd about the superboot.

"You're the first person on the Uni+ to receive votes from 100% of the crowd. Congratulations."

I start bowing and thanking everyone in the stands before I make my swift exit from the stage. I see my manager and embrace her in the hug, explaining everything that happened. I then went home and got prepared for the photo shoot tomorrow for our profiles.

After my photo shoot, was the teaser for my profile, through the transition I caught the smallest glimpse of a short, blond haired man. As soon as I saw the man beside him, I knew he was my ultimate bias - Lee Euijin. Which means that he made it onto The Uni+ too. Knowing this got me more pumped for what laid ahead.

As I was waiting for the teaser, I read over the contract. The rules were standard rules that I had in my agency except one. 'The Participants of the Uni+ must not date.'

Although this rule was sort of strange, I wasn't fazed by it. The only real person I had my eye on was my bias and I'm not even sure he would like my group, let-a-lone know who I am. Then my name was called to start the teaser.

The first stage of the Uni+ was bringing everyone into a room, starting with the lowest boots. I was the last contestant to enter the room and when I did, the room fell silent and then proceeded with a burst of whispers. Instead of sitting with everyone, I sat away from them as the all stared at me.

We got our first mission and we had to form our own teams. Everyone looked my way at least once, but no one was willing to approach me. In the end, I got up and walked around. Instead of going for people with higher boots, I rounded up a group of girls with 0-1 boots.

The first round went quick and even though our group didn't place first, I made good memories with the girls and formulated friendships with them. Afterwards, we received our ranks. I anxiously waited for my place, nervous that I would fail and be eliminated.

When they called the candidates for first place, my stage name was called. I was so surprised. Much to my surprise, I also placed first for the girls. I gave a small speech about continuing to work hard and thank you's before we moved on to the boys ranking Euijin placed in the top 17 and I was so proud. I was proud of his work and proud that I was his fan.

As time progressed, I continued placing first even though the missions got harder and Euijin, well, he started to become everyone's favourite. It made me so happy that he was finally get the support that he deserved and I knew that would help BIGFLO grow was a group as well.

It was now the second to last voting round and I found out that I still held my place as first. When I was up talking to Rain, he mention words that scared me a little.
