Will woke up suddenly. His left arm was trapped under a piece of rubble which was moving. It was his dad.
"Dad, what happened," Will said while trying not to cry.
"Aliens," He said. The piece of rubble finally moved allowing Will to get up.
"Where's mom?" Will asked. Will's father didn't answer. That's when Will started to tear up. Be brave. Be brave. Will repeated in his mind. All of a sudden a creepy alien thing stepped into the equation and shot dad directly in the chest with a machine gun.
"No Dad not you to," Will said rushing over to his side.
"Will listen, be brave, don't die, run," He said just before his eyes closed for the last time. Will immediately jumped up grabbed his adidas jacket and ran out of the house to a scene of absolute horror. Families running, children crying, people dying. All of a sudden the alien ran out of the house charging strait for him. All Will had to do was kick him to get the machine gun out of his hands. It turned out the aliens had the same hand weapons as us. Will grabbed the machine gun and pulled the trigger.
"That's for killing my family," Will said harshly. Will walked back into the house and packed a bag full of essentials. He even wrapped his left arm thinking that his elbow was sprained from the rubble.
He was going to respect his father's last wish. He ran straight to the airport. He knew what he was about to do was risky, but he needed to reunite with some people and the first people he could think of was Nerd Squad.
"Sophia wake up, please don't be dead," Robert said.
"Rob, what happened?" She said waking up.
"A beam of light hit the house and destroyed most of it," He said. All of a sudden a small bi - plane flew over the house crashing into a tree. Somebody fell out of the cock pit and to the ground. Robert realized that hair cut.
"It's Will," he said. They all ran out side to him to see if he was dead. Luckily he wasn't.
"Hey guys," He said shakily.
"Oh thank god your alive," Sophia and Robert said. Jonathan reached a hand out to help him up. Will gladly excepted it.
"Where is the rest of your family," Winter asked. Will didn't reply.
"We have to run away," Will said.
"But our families," Jamie said.
"Trust me their...," Will stopped hopping that they would get the picture, "they go after the adults leaving the teenagers. But they will come after us sooner or later." They all grabbed some essentials - such as tents, clothes, food - put them into bags and left walking through the back woods until they realized they had gotten to a river.
"A river, I didn't expect that," Jamie said.
"How far have we walked?" Winter asked. Will and Robert pulled out their phones and opened the google maps app.
"We just crossed over into Ohio," Will replied.
"We should rest here for the night," Courtney said.
"Good idea, start setting up the tents," Will said.
Will didn't sleep a wink he was worried. He had to find a way through this. He then started to think positive mainly about how they will survive.
