"I don't want to be here! It's creepy!" Winter said. Jamie, Jonathan, and Winter were walking through a forest. And it was, rather dark.
"Deal with it! Our feet hurt, too!" Jamie said.
"And be quiet, too! They could hear us!" Jonathan said.
The small trio had been walking for days and camping by the small stream they had followed.
"But-" Winter started.
"Not another word or we'll sacrifice you first!" Jamie scolded.
"Jamie! Don't scare her!" Jonathan exclaimed.
"She better know the consequences! We want to live to see another day!" Jamie argued.
"I know what happens if I make a mistake. I just want to see my friends and family again," Winter said.
"And we'll make sure you do," Jonathan replied, reassuringly.
All this time they had been walking. They didn't notice, however that the forest seemed lighter than usual.
"Alright. I hacked the database and we have...one second...the coordinates of everyone! Just give me five more seconds and...alright, we have a message sent! They should be receiving it soon. They will have track of our position at all times and we can send messages back and forth. I just hope their devices are turned on," Jamie stated.
"Me too," Winter said.
Suddenly, a twig snaps in the distance.
"Guys, did you hear that?" Jonathan asked.
Another twig snapped.
"I don't like this. I don't like this at all!" Winter said.
They all stood back-to-back.
"RUN!" Jamie screamed.
They all ran different directions. Then the pure pandemonium began.
Winter screeched,"I just twisted my ankle! OWWW!!!" She limped a bit further before she full-out ran.
"Be strong, Winter!" Jonathan yelled. He started to scale a tree, but in his attempts, was forcefully pulled down.
"Hey! You can't do that to me!" he yelled at the alien.
The alien made a sound that sounded like gibberish. Jonathan struggled to get free. The alien tied him to a tree and proceeded to torture him.
"Let me go! I need to get to Winter! I need to help her!" Jonathan whimpered.
A couple miles away:
"AHHHHH!" Winter screamed. She ran and limped as she dealt with the stabbing pain running up her leg. Jamie watched from behind a bush as she fell down a hole covered with leaves.
"Idiot," Jamie thought. She proceeded to sneak from her hiding place and to run to the nearest opening. But before she knew it, two aliens had dropped down from the tree above and dragged her away.
The only one left was Jonathan, who was unconscious.
A few more miles away:
Robert and Sophia got an alert on their tracker.
"It's Jamie! She sent us her coordinates and everything. It's also tracking our location and everyone else's! Let's go find them!" Sophia said.
"I'll tell everyone where we should meet up. Alright then, let's get on our way!" Robert said.
Many more miles away:
"Will, if we keep going at this rate, we should meet up in, two days!" Courtney exclaimed.
"Are you suggesting we run?" Will asked.
"It's the best idea you've had all day," Courtney said.
Everyone was meeting in the forest at dusk. Robert and Sophia got there first.
"Looks like we've beat them here," Robert said.
"Help! I hear your voices! Help me!" someone shouted.
"Who could that be?" Sophia asked. They ran a little bit farther.
Further away:
"Help! I hear your voices! Help me!" someone shouted.
"Did you hear that?" Courtney asked.
"It sounds like...like Jonathan!" Will exclaimed.
"Run!" they both shouted in unison.
At the tree:
Both groups found Jonathan tied to a tree.
"They're..." he sobbed,"they've both gone. They've been - in short of a better term - abducted."
