Will woke up to a bone chilling shriek. Uh- oh. Will immediately thought. He ran to the sound. It was Winter.
"Snake!" she shouted again.
"Thats all it is. really," Will said. He picked it up and through it out of the tent. He had encountered way bigger snakes in China.
"I don't like snakes," Winter said.
"We should pack up camp," Robert said coming out of the boys tent.
"Good idea," Jonathan said also coming out of the tent. Everybody started coming out of their tents. All of a sudden Will heard a twig break. Apparently Robert heard it to because he instantly said, "Everybody quiet."
Will grabbed something from the tent. It was a gun. He then grabbed another one and handed it to Robert.
"Hello," Will shouted. All of a sudden one of the aliens jumped out of the brush and landed on the girls tent. Will pulled the trigger sending a bullet right through the aliens eye. Robert then shot another one into the heart killing it. Jonathan dragged the alien off the top of the tent.
"Winter, no more screaming," Jamie said turning to face her. They packed up the camp and moved to the bank of the river.
"I'm sorry to say this, but we have to cross," Will said. They slowly descended into the water and waded across. Courtney slipped and fell into the water. Will moved to help her up, but she got up herself and they moved on. The river ran long and wide. Robert was the first one to get all the way across then Jonathan then Will and so on. Will collapsed on the river bank.
"Will what's wrong," Sophia asked. Willed pulled up his pant leg to reveal a bite mark. The girls gasped.
"Will why were you hiding this from us?" Robert asked.
"It doesn't matter. I'll be fine," Will replied. All of a sudden Will collapsed. Jonathan had already pulled the med kit out of his bag. Sophia who knew how to deal with these sort of things grabbed a towel and dried it while Jonathan wrapped it up. Robert grabbed Will and carried him to the nearest town.
Will woke up laying on a bed in a hotel room. Nerd Squad surrounded him.
"Hey guys," Will said slowly sitting up.
"Careful," Sophia said.
"Where are we?" Will asked.
"Jonathan found this abandoned hotel with running water and everything, " Winter said.
"Also we were watching the TV and it turns out Area 51 is broadcasting and it says any survivors should go there," Robert said. Will got out of bed and into the bathroom to take a shower.
"Who wants to go exploring," Courtney said. Jamie and Jonathan raised their hands. They then walked out of the room.
