Will and Courtney went back to the room to retrieve everyone's things. Courtney threw her shoulder into the door, knocking it open. They both burst into the room with remarkable speed. "Hurry! I can hear them coming!" Courtney said. Will ran into the bathroom to grab his things. In the process, he hit his injured leg off of the bath tub. "Owww!" he screamed. That's when he heard the ear-piercing screech. He'd never heard anything like it, even out of Winter. But coming from Courtney, he'd never in his life thought he would hear Courtney scream. Will limped out of the room, just in time to see the aliens smash the glass window and step inside. He reached into his backpack to grab one of his pistols, but neither of them were there. It turned out Courtney had them both.
"Eat bullet!" She shouted as she shot at them wasting his ammo. The aliens fell to the ground.
"Courtney, can I have a gun please," Will said.
"Oh yeah, sorry," Will said. Courtney handed him his gun. Will grabbed another magazine from his backpack and loaded the gun.
"We should go," Will said. So Courtney and Will left the room to run away.
Robert and Sophia were both hiding behind a big boiler tank.
"Sophia," Robert whispered.
"Yes," Sophia replied in a whisper.
"Whatever happens... I... I love you," Robert whispered.
"I love you to," Sophia said kissing him on the cheek. They both slowly got up and went upstairs to grab their stuff from their room. When they got there they found two dead alien bodies and broken glass. They ignored it thinking nothing of it. Then they left also running away.
Jonathan, Winter, and Jamie ran across the street with their bags in hand. Winter could hear the aliens scraping away at the cement of the parking garage.
"Jon," Winter said getting his attention.
"Yeah," he said.
"I'm scared," she said with tears in her eyes. Jonathan signaled for everyone to hide in the alley next to them.
"I know your scared. I am to, but we have to stay strong. We have to keep running. Ok?" Jonathan said.
"Yes," Winter said kissing him on the cheek. Jonathan blushed.
"Come on we have to keep moving," Jamie said breaking the ice.
