II. Industry

Prologue

Tamara's POV

"Welcome to the couch, Ms.Tamaraaaa," I heard Keshia Chante yell into the mic as the doors opened. I waved with a smile then walked over to them.

"Hello, hello," I said into the mic before giving her and Bow Wow hugs then sitting onto the couch beside them.

"Hello, honey. You look amazing!" She exclaimed while eyeing me with a smile.

"Thank you. I feel amazing," I say while smiling and showing my deep dimples.

"Of course. You should since everyone knows your longtime boyfriend, Rashad, popped the question over the weekend. How did that make you feel," She asked.

"I don't know. I had so many emotions running through me at one time. He didn't even drop any hints to me about it," I giggled.

"Hints? You not supposed to have any hints," Bow wow said with a laugh.

"Normally, they would act all suspicious and be trying to hide stuff, but he didn't do any of that," I smiled while saying it.

"Ignore him, child. He don't know nothing about this, but you gotta show us the ring," She smiled as I extended my hand out to her.

"Damn! That's a big ass rock," Bow Wow stated with a shocked expression.

I giggled.

"Honey child, I'm about to go find me a Rashad,"

Everyone laughed and the girls in the audience agreed.

"He's here right now," I said while pointing upstairs. Rashad started laughing as he leaned over the rail slightly while waving.

"Can he join us because I want the scoop," Keshia said while waving him over.

Rashad shook his head. "Noooo. I'm not dressed right," I heard him yell to us.

"Honey, it don't matter. Come on down," She said while looking at him.

"He's stubborn, so it'll be awhile," I chuckled as I noticed him going to the back.

Keshia held her earpiece then smiled. "Oh. Looks like Rashad will be joining us afterwards, but first lets get into one of his videos. Here's 'Get Ya Money' featuring Fabulous,"

The video began to play as they turned off our mics. Rashad came over to the couch in his black sweats and a black 'Testimony' sweatshirt with his Nike slides. Wow.

"For clarification, I am not stubborn," He stated before pecking my lips then walking toward the crowd of girls to interact with his fans.

See, I would, but my feet hurt too bad. They've been hurting alot lately and the foot rubs Rashad gives me only works for like five to ten minutes then my pain comes back.

The video was close to ending and Rashad came back over to the couch then sat beside me. I smiled at him as the producer began to count at us as Bow and Keshia sat down quickly.

"Welcome back to 106. Tamara and Rashad are here with us. Now, when did you know that you wanted to marry her," Bow Wow asked.

"Man, when I jumped in front of that bullet for her. I was like now she really gotta marry me," He joked as him and Bow hit hands and laughed. "Nah, but she make me happy. Yeah we have our ups and downs, but what relationship don't? And we're committed to each other. We have a strong bond that nothing can break," He smiled as a light blush came over my cheeks and the crowd "awww-ed"
