Tamara's POV

I sat up against the headboard with my book as I scanned over the pages. Rashad thought it was cute to take my book and make me lose the page.

"Baby, I know you are not still mad," I heard him say from behind the door.

I locked his ass out of our bedroom when he went downstairs to get something to drink.

"Hell yeah I'm still mad. This book was getting good," I yelled to him.

It got quiet and I heard him shuffling around with the doorknob. I know he is not picking our lock. Suddenly the door opened and he leaned against the door frame then he tossed my bobby pin to me.

"I can get through any lock except for that one at the hotel. You needed a card for that," He laughed.

I chuckled. "When I'm reading, you know to leave me alone. Just like when you play your games, I know to leave you alone,"

He sucked his teeth. "What you readin anyway," He asked before plopping down onto the bed beside me.

I set the book down then looked over at him. "How to Kill my Husband and Get Away With It," I said with a smirk as he laughed.

"You tryna be funny," He said while pulling his shirt over his head. "Anyways, I'm about to go to sleep. We gotta long day tomorrow," He sighed and so did I.

"All them damn interviews. They ask the same question over and over just in different ways,"

"You know they gon ask about our babies. Why you ain't wanna know the gender? I wanted to know," He huffed.

"Because sometimes they can be wrong. My uncle Major was supposed to be a girl, but look at him and ion wanna get the wrong stuff and be super pissed," I smiled at him.

"Yeah. On that note, I'm going to sleep forreal," He clapped his hands and the lights turned off.

I smirked then clapped my hands and the lights came on. "Who said I wanted to sleep,"

"Use a flashlight," He smirked then clapped his hands.

"We can do this all night," I said then clapped my hands.

He sat up then rested his chin on his fist and stared at me. He sucked his teeth. "So you just gon go against the grain and keep playin?" He huffed while sucking his teeth.

"I'm just kidding, babe. I'm tired too," I pecked his nose then clapped my hands for the lights to turn off.

"Goodnight," He huffed.

I pushed my long pillow under my stomach then rolled onto my left side, facing Rashad. I draped my leg over his as he tangled our legs together. I closed my eyes and drifted into a deep sleep.

Tamara's Dream

I walked down the aisle as the bride song played. I gripped onto my bouquet of flowers as my dad and I got closer to the alter. I took a deep breath as my dad let me go so I could stand in front of Rashad.

"We are gathered here today for Tamara Bahja Pullins and Rashad Anthony Spencer to be joined as one," The priest started out. "Now is the time to share your vows," He smiled at us with a nod.

"We agreed to do the vows at the reception," Rashad nodded with a nervous smile.

"Oh. I've never had that happen, but ok. Rings?" The priest called out.
