"Hello?" Jack's soft voice cut through the stiffening stillness of the air. I took a sharp breath and gained my senses.
"There's someone in my house," I whispered into my phone.
"Are you in the house too?"
"No. I'm on the roof," I heard more footsteps.
"I'm on my way. Don't hang up. It'll take me like ten minutes, don't let them find you," Jack's voice held an urgency that I had never heard before.
"I won't hang up," I could hear Jack's car door open and close. I felt my breath catch in my throat as I heard a bang on my door. I felt my eyes widen.
"Y/n did they just hit your door?" Jack's voice came out quiet.
"Yeah. Please hurry," I shut my eyes and listened for another bang.
"I'm speeding, be there in seven."
Another loud bang sounded out from my room. I held my breath as I listened. I could hear something working on my doorknob. I gripped the side of my house with my hurt finger causing me to whimper. I quickly shut up and held my breath.
"Are you okay?" Jack sounded paniced. I held my breath and didn't reply. I heard my door creak open. I felt a tear prick my eye.
"Y/n where are you?" my eyes widened as I instantly noticed the voice that had called my name. "You little bitch. You got me fired."
I bit my lip and steadied my feet to get them ready if I had to jump. I could feel myself shake with fear. The phone in my hand shook with my body. Jack hadn't said anything else yet. The teacher's raged breath came from the room behind me. I could feel a small tear escape my eye.
"I know you're in here. Are you in the closet Y/n? If you come out now your punishment won't be as bad," I heard my closet open. I felt the panic erupt through my stomach.
I heard the sound of a car going fast. There had been many cars going by but none of them sounded as urgent as this one did. I hoped it was Jack coming. I heard the window slowly creeping open. I started to jump but one of my feet had been caught by something. I felt my face scrap against the shingles of the roof. I gripped the side of the roof with both hands, resisting the pull of the man on the other side of my foot. I could hear Jack through my phone, yelling my name but I didn't reply.
"There you are bitch. Since you didn't come out before, this punishment will be bad," I heard the creepy voice and turned my head to look at him in fear. Tears were pouring from my eyes and soaking my face at this point. "Are you scared? You should be."
"P-please stop," I begged him, still pulling the opposite way of him. I looked through my peripheral vision and saw Jack running towards the house. I felt my hands slip and I was pulled towards the man. I screamed as he yanked me into him and started to touch my body. "Jack!" I hoped he would hear me call to him.
"Y/n!" Jack ran into the room and grabbed one of my textbooks, slamming it into the teacher's head. I sobbed and pulled away from the unconcious male. I pushed my back against the wall, sobbing. Jack came over to me and pulled me into his chest. I sobbed into his chest as he held me.
"I knew he would come Jack. I didn't tell anyone and this happened. Jack I should've told you," I grabbed his shirt up in my fists.
"It's okay Y/n. Will you let me call the police?" Jack held the back of my head as I slowly began to calm down. I nodded my head and he ended our call, beginning one with 911.
"A crazy man came to my girlfriend's house and tried to kidnap her. Yes he's still here. She's with me. Yes she's physically fine except for some scraps and bruises. I don't know about mentally," he continued to give details to the person on the other side. He gave them my adress and they sent police our way. I stared at the unconcious body of a potential rapist, scared he would wake up. There was slight blood coming from a small cut on the side of his head. I clung to Jack as we waited for the police to arrive.
