"Heyo," I waved at the four girls that sat on a bench not too far away from me.
"Hey, what took you so long?" Ally hopped up from the bench and went over to me, wrapping her arms around me. "You made us wait fifteen minutes."
"I woke up a little late," I started with a small smile. "Sorry about that."
"It's fine," Millie smiled over my way. "Someone was just getting impatient."
"No I wasn't," Sophia crossed her arms and looked to the side. "Why would I be getting impatient?"
"No one said it was you but thanks for clearing that up," Ellie let out a small giggle, lightly patting Sophia's back.
"Shit she didn't," Sophia's eyes widened and her facial expression instantly turned to disappointment towards herself.
"We all know Soph can't sit still for more than 10 minutes without complaining," Ally looked over her shoulder at Sophia with a large grin.
"Don't speak down upon your elder child," Sophia marched up to be face to face with Ally, hands on her hips. Ally's face was mixed with humor and tease.
"I'm sorry my dear elder, what could I possibly do to make it up to you?" Ally got down on her knees, hands together as if she was praying. She looked up at Sophia with her bottom lip stuck out.
"Buy me ice cream," Sophia stuck her nose up, face turned away from Ally.
"You guys are actual idiots," Millie giggled.
"SHUSH peasant," Sophia yelled, causing people to look. I sat down on the bench and crossed my legs, watching the scene unfold. "What will it be child?"
"Whatever," Ally got off of her knees. "I have a job anyway."
"Damn I forgot I needed a job," I looked down at the ground.
"Come work at Starbucks with me," Ally grabbed my arm in excitement. "It'll be great."
"Hey I work there too," Millie spoke up. "Do it for me."
"I'll apply," I smiled at the two.
"Now I wish I worked there," Ellie gave a small pout.
"Why don't you?" Sophia motioned for us to start walking. We all followed her lead and started to walk along side her.
"I have to be close to my college," Ellie gave a small disgusted look. "Honestly it sucks."
"I can tell. Just look at those eyebags," Sophia poked at Ellie's purplish under eye. Ellie lightly pushed Sophia's hand away.
"It isn't that bad Soph," Ellie shook her head a little.
"So um if no one minds me asking," I looked off to the side, rubbing my hand along the back of my neck. "What exactly is the plan for today?"
"To have a girls day," Millie locked her arm around my neck. "Just the four of us."
"Aren't you forgetting someone?" Ally looked at us and tilted her head.
"Oh shoot," Millie looked around, recounting us. "I think I forgot myself."
"Guys look," Sophia anxiously pointed in the direction of an ice cream place. "Ice cream."
"I was hoping you forgot about ice cream," Ally puffed her cheeks out in defeat. "Not that I'm opposed to the idea."
"I'm up for some ice cream," Ellie rubbed her hands together excitedly.
"Yeah," I nodded my head in agreement.
"Welp let's go," Millie hopped onto my back and pointed forward. "Forward march!"
