"Grazer," I whined as he lifted me from where I was standing.
"L/n," Jack mocked as he held me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
"Why must you do this to me?" I groaned. "It actually hurts my hip bone."
He adjusted my body against his shoulder, gripping my waist. "Better?"
"It'd be better if you put me down," I mumbled. I secretly enjoyed being carried by him. Even if I was hanging over his shoulder. "Where are you taking me anyway?"
"Somewhere," he chuckled.
"That doesn't help at all," I huffed and kicked my legs twice.
"If you keep kicking I'll throw you on the ground," Jack's playful voice came from under me.
"I can't help it. You're the one holding me against my will," I looked to the side.
"Okay I'll set you down," he placed me gently on the ground. I looked around at the park he'd taken me to. It was the one close to my house, where Ellie broke up with him the first time. I grabbed his hand and ran to the swings.
"Why take me here?" I tilted my head at him, sitting down on the swing. I gently pushed off the ground, keeping his hand in mine.
"I know you love to swing," he chuckled at the wide grin that was spread across my face.
"Not as much as I love you for taking me here to swing," I giggled and gave his cheek a small kiss. "Now push me."
He let go of my hand, the warmth quickly leaving. I kept the smile on my lips as he started to push me in the swing. I lightly swung my legs, being sure not to kick him as he pushed me. After a minute or two of him pushing me I accidentally swung my legs too far back and my foot connected with his nose. I knew that I kicked him in the nose only because as soon as I did it I looked back at him and saw a bloody nose.
"Jesus are you trying to kill me?" he asked me from the ground. He held his hand to his nose so I couldn't see the blood coming from it.
"No! I'm so sorry Jack," I looked forward and jumped out of the swing while it was still high. I landed on my feet, only for my legs to buckle underneath the sudden weight. I fell onto my face in the wood chips and one stuck into my palm.
Even though I landed on my face I pushed myself up and ran to Jack. "Are you okay?" I took his hands away from his face and made sure he didn't tilt his head back.
"I'm fine. Are you?" he grabbed my face with his bloody hand.
"Yeah," I swiped his hand away. His eyes widened as he saw my face.
"You're bleeding Y/n/n," he tried to touch my face again. I giggled at him.
"That's from your hand," he looked down at his hand and started to laugh. We soon fell into a giggle fit of everything that happened, not caring about our injuries.
"Wait no you're actually bleeding," he grabbed my face again and wiped some blood off my forehead. "Nevermind."
"Should we go back to my house?" I giggled slightly. "I gotta patch you up. Can't wait to see you with tissues up your nose."
He sighed and grabbed my hand to pull me up. I held tightly onto his hand before quickly letting go with a yelp. Jack looked over at me with concern. I noticed that the hand he had grabbed was the hand that had the woodchip stuck into it. I shook my hand and looked at Jack with a weak smile before standing up on my own. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah. I just have a woodchip stuck in my palm," I winced at the thought of the woodchip through my skin. Honestly I couldn't feel it but that didn't make the thought any better.
