Libra's POV:
I charged my brother, drawing on my inner yin energy to boost my hits and agility, but he was too damn fast. Vekten was a master at drawing yang energy to power-up his muay thai centric fighting style. Combined with a weakened spiritual presence and blinding anger, my lack of speed allowed for my brother to deliver a powerful kick to my stomach and I was sent flying back.
"What are abs for if they can't be used to deflect hits," I groaned to myself. My washboard 6-pack took months to develop and I specifically trained them to act as a mini shield to protect my stomach area, but my brother and his damn kicks were just too strong. My brother looked at me with a disappointing glare and was upon me almost instantly. With a smirk plasterd on his face, he delivered a quick kick to my head with the intentions of subduing me. Anger built up as the blow whiplashed my head back and I began to call on yang energy; yin energy's speed boosts were simply was not enough to combat yang energy's brute strength coupled with Vekten's natural lightning speed head on.
"Oh come on brother, you charge at me for no reason with blood as your intention but all you've got is your own blood covering your face. Snap out of it, this isn't you. If it was, I would actually be having some fun," smirked my brother. Then he face grew dark as he felt the aura of yang beginning to swirl around me. Through my suddenly black and white vision, I saw my brother's white figure (imagine night vision goggles and how they turn everything black except for heat signature's) slowly back away while drawing on more yang energy himself. Big mistake, I quickly lunged at him with raised fists and landed 4 lighting fast successions of strikes to his chest. I felt the negative energy course through my veins like alcohol after a Friday night out and began to circle my brother. I took note of the pain in Vekten's voice when he let off a groan and it pleasured me so well. Getting into a coiled position, I was ready to pounce when suddenly a huge burst of light energy ripped through my very existence, throwing me back a couple meters. Vekten somehow managed to summon a huge wave of ying energy as a natural defense against my yang energy.
Knocked over and dazed with stars swirling my vision, I tried getting back up to no avail. That hit drained all of my energy. I began to expel the negative energy within me to restore balance. From the corner of my eye, I saw Vekten barely able to stand up as a bright aura radiated from his being. Once I had begun my purge of negative energy, I began to realize he was right; something was off. Why did I feel so angry and violent all of a sudden. Then I remembered how I even got to this point in the first place. Sprawled out on the floor, I began the process of trying to expel all the yang energy within my body and recall the light to me. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed a white blur coming my way. Mere moments later a brutal downwards kick connected with my face. Face planted into the stars, I mustered all of my energy to turn around. Through swollen eyelids, I could see the darkness returning to him as he stood over me with a pained expression. Smirking internally, I enjoyed the idea of how he struggles so hard to contain the ying energy from expanding beyond the point in which he needed it. He would've never been able to perform such a feat but since I had called upon yang, it was natural that he would call on ying, as universal balance ruled both of us.
Coughing up a unnatural amount of blood, I attempted to get off my ass but dropped like a rock in the ocean. Although in the spirit realm or wherever the hell we were, physical pain could still be felt...just in a lesser state. Vekten came over to offer a hand and I gladly took it; it's so undignifying to lay on the ground in your own blood. Showing no emotions towards what just happened, Vekten braced me on his right shoulder and helped me to the base of the Libran scale. On one side of the scale, darkness was beginning to cover one side of the balance.
Tendrils as black as the abyss burst out of the expanding darkness and began to snake around the balance. Suddenly my face met the floor as Vekten collapsed. Turning my head to the side, I saw his entire being began to tear off piece by piece as a harsh light enveloped his body. In no less than 5 seconds, Vekten was gone, disappeared to God knows where. Weakened by the punishment my brother inflicted on me and suddenly sapped of all energy. I began to feel my being disintegrate as well.
"No........not.........no....w" I murmured and I faded out into a harsh whiteness.
