Something smells nice
I quickly get out of bed and followed the smell ...hmmm my favourite.
"i remember why i love you" i said when i spotted Suzy with an apron.
"you're a clown"chuckling
"can i eat " fixing myself on the kitchen stool.
"since when did we start eating in the kitchen?" she asked with her eyebrows raised
"since you started cooking my breakfast" shrugging my shoulders
"you know you always....." she turned back for *God knows what*
"Em em" answering
her absentmindedly
Being the Suzy i know she must have sensed something because she turned back just before i ate a slice of pancake.
"what do you think you're doing"
making me to stop midway. I looked at her with her messed up 3c hair and her creased eye brows which I'm definitely the cause of.
"Eating" giving her the sweetest smile ever
"don't you dare" she pointed at the pancake where the fork was pierced in and motioned me to drop it on the plate which i followed because i wouldn't be tasting that pancake at all if i didn't.
I stood up defeated.
I lost the battle for my baby. I cleaned a fake and invincible tear for my baby, my pancake and went to the living room to brood.
"food is ready" Suzy came out of the kitchen with a dish filled with pancake.
"it's party time" hitting the air with my fist. Suzy burst out with laughter at my behaviour. Please who doesn't love pancake? No one.
We prayed.
"let's dig in" Suzy gave me space to take mine first which was definitely a wrong move.
"hey"
"what? "
"that's too much"
"says....?"she was about to reduce my portion. I ran away with immediacy. Before i knew it i was on the floor but my pancake was safe. Thank God.

Suzy was the best female runner in her secondary school. I should've thought twice but NO when pancake is involved, thinking twice is not as fast as eating pancake.
"fine I'll reduce it" i stood up and kept my word.
