A WOMAN OF STEEL

chapter 3

"Young lady you have some explanation to do after you have your bath coz you stink" looking at her. She was in a mess. She went into the bathroom without arguing. Something is wrong. She doesn't like taking her bath, especially when it's cold like now but she just agreed to. Hmmm...I just sighed and went to wait for her in the living room.

"Oyin" I spun around

"You look better now, you see what bathing does"she just smiled and shook her head. Now that's the real Suzy, never agreeing that bathing makes one feel better.

"So spill"

She carefully sat on the cushion like it was made of glass. I could feel the hesitation but I didn't bother. I needed to hear what happened. So I just waited till she was ready.

"Emm...I forgot to fill the fuel tank of my car."she started after some minutes passed. I wasn't expecting her to start with that but I listened.

"I got to the party around 1:30.
Everyone was in the party mood" I could see her eyes lightning up as she remembered.

"I enjoyed myself but there were a lot of guys there compared to the number of girls so I didn't want to stay long. It was 3am when I was about to leave. When I was walking towards my car..." She paused. I could the change of emotions in her eyes. It was cold.

"I could feel someone staring at me from the party but I didn't want to look back so I kept on walking. When I got to the car, I noticed the eyes were gone. I felt relived and scared at the same time" she was breathing faster. I stood up to get her a glass of water which she drank in a second, then continued.

"I tried starting the car but it didn't start. That's when I noticed my fuel tank was low if not empty. I'm sorry Oyin, you always told me to check it before leaving the house." I held her hand and assured her that I wasn't angry. Then she continued.

"Before I knew it , someone knocked on my window. I was scared to look at the person but I knew I had no choice. I saw a tall guy,jet black hair, he looked strong and had this 'don't mess with me' look. He was handsome but frightening. He knocked again drawing my attention back. He asked me why I was leaving early. I simply told him I wanted to rest. To my surprise he said 'I can see your car is stopping you from doing that, why don't you let me take you home in my car' without thinking twice I agreed. Now thinking of it ,I didn't even think before accepting , it seems the juice I had was spiked. When he showed me his car. Oyin you won't believe me if I tell you it was a Lamborghini." Her eyes widened and I chuckled .But the emotion was gone as fast as it came.

"I was shocked at the sight. It was a beauty. The moment I stepped in, I knew he was rich. The drink was taking effect and he was driving slow but I didn't take the advantage so I turned on the radio. He kept glancing at me each time. But I ignored him. The last thing I remembered was that we were already in our estate. I must have slept off due to the spiked juice." She shifted a bit and continued. I knew the real thing was coming next.

"The room was dim lighted. I thanked God I didn't see him lying down with me and finding myself naked" noticing I was holding my breath I kept my hand on my chest and breathed well , relieved. 'No offense Suzy but I thought you were rapped.' I didn't say that to her face though.

"But of all things he was searching through my things. I quickly got up and asked him why? He was surprised that I was awake and all things almost fell off. He stared at me for some minutes but it looked like an hour without saying anything. He was like 'who are you? What do you want? Why me?' I was confused on what he was saying so I stared at him in confusion. He was holding your diary. You forgot your diary in the bag you borrowed me.
