LIAM'S VIEW
Chapter SevenI followed my mom into the kitchen then into the secret, soundproof room, my family only knows about this room.
"Why does she look like Helen?" My mom asked sternly.
"We aren't sure, mom," Benjamin sighed.
"But she's gone," I whispered.
I'm not sure why but Ivy's face always reminds me of Hellen. She has the electrical ocean blue eyes like ours and dark brown hair. Not many people in the world have beautiful blues eyes like our family's.
"Where do you think Helen is?" Ian asked.
"With her kidnapper," mom rolled her eyes.
We walked out and headed back to the living room to see Ivy and Klara laughing at a joke. They haven't noticed we walked in so we sat on the couch watching them, as happy tears streamed down their faces.
"Ready to start the project?" I asked.
Both turned to me and nodded, following me up the staircase. I could hear them talk in hushed whispers but couldn't exactly make out what they were saying. We arrived outside my room and I opened the door, reviling what was opposite my door.
"Wow!" I heard both of the girls gasp in awe.
"This is your room?" Ivy asked, excitedly.
"Mmhm," I replied, picking up my piggybank and putting coins in.
The satisfying clinking, made me visibly relax, knowing I had money.
"Alright lets start! Liam do you have a laptop?" Ivy asked.
"Yes," I handed her my Apple laptop.
"Let's do a fundraiser for animals!" Klara suggested and we agreed.
We started making a poster, the website would be last. I got a pastel blue poster paper and set it down on the floor. After we wrote the title, Klara had a call.
"I'll be back," she sheepishly smiled.
We wait for her for five minutes until she came back with a worried face.
"I have to go. Bye!" She dashed out and we followed her.
A black van was waiting outside and once she closed the door, they sped off down the road. We waited in awkward silence until we couldn't see the van then headed back inside. Once I closed the door, I turned around to see my family talking to Ivy. My mother walked into the living room and we followed closely behind her.
"Okay, so as you know, the boys mentioned a girl named Helen," my mom stated.
Ivy nodded, looking as confused as ever.
"She was a lovely girl, my only daughter. Helen was kidnapped by a rich couple that couldn't have a child."
Flashback
"Liam, darling," my mom called as I was playing on the swings.
"Yes, mom?" I walked up to her.
"Have you seen Helen, she was in the sandpit," my mother looked frantically for her.
"No," I looked around and saw a couple holding what looked like Helen.
I tapped mom's shoulder and pointed at the couple. I am only one years old so I don't know what is really happening.
"Helen!" My mom screamed at them and ran to them, leaving me at the slide.
I watched as the couple ran away and into a black van, that was parked at the side of the pavement, speeding off down the road and away from here. My mother came back, sobbing and muttering words that I couldn't quite make out. You see, I am a really smart kid, even though I'm only one years old.
End of Flashback
"Why are you telling me this?" Ivy whispered.
"Because we think you're Helen," Benjamin muttered.
"How? I don't remember that happening," she buried her face into her hands.
Ian took a photo from a cupboard and handed it to Ivy, whispering something into her ear, making her eyes into a golf ball size.
