Chapter Ten

I have been avoiding Klara since the day of our outburst. I got ready for school, following my routine like how I do everyday.

We arrived at the front of the school gates that was crowded by students. I walked inside and to my locker, accidentally bumping into someone. Their books dropped and I helped pick them up. When I looked up, ours eyes met, it was Klara.

"Look, Ivy-" I cut her off.

"Klara. Just drop it, okay? If you want to talk about it, come meet me after school outside," I walked past her and into Business Studies class.

"Alright. You guys need to hand up the poster and website by next month. The team with the most money, gets free tickets to the waterpark!" Mr Peter cheered.

"Meet at our house after school," Liam told Klara, pointing at me.

School passed by in a blur and it was now home time! Yay! I met Klara outside, she was talking to someone on the phone. She hadn't noticed me behind her so I eavesdropped.

"Yes. Okay, I'll come for the photoshoot." Wait, photoshoot?

"I need a partner?" She asked into the phone. "Can it be a girl?" She listened closely. "Thank you, so much! I'll talk to you later. Bye!"

When she turned around, I looked at her with a raised eyebrow. She looked shocked and started to fiddle with her fingers.

"Photoshoot? Partner? Seriously?" I asked. "Spill."

"I am Quinn, the model," she sighed and got into her van, taking off her disguise.

I stared, shocked at her. She is Quinn, the famous worldwide model? I got into her van and she drove to her house. Her house was a huge one, very modern too. We walked up the steps and into the house, the furniture was well polished. She led me to her room and I quietly followed, still shocked.

"Now, explain please."

"I just wanted a normal teenage life at school," she looked down.

"I forgive you for your outburst and I'm sorry too," I smiled sheepishly.

"Best friends?" She asked.

"Best friends!" I hugged her.

Chapter Eleven

We arrived at my house at six o'clock. I managed to convince Quinn to not wear her disguise, knowing my brothers are a fan of her. She also chose me to be her model partner and I happily agreed. I opened the gate and she drove in, parking at the free spot. I rang the doorbell because I didn't have the keys and Liam opened it, his mouth dropped ten inches when he saw us. I heard more footsteps approach and saw all the boys standing there mouths ajar.

"Hey," she squeaked.

We walked in and sat in the living room. The boys gave a a look that said 'spill-it-now' and we explained everything.

"Well this was not expected," they mumbled.

We continued to talk until Quinn had to go home. Saying our goodbyes, I headed for the piano room and started to sing 'Who Says' by Selena Gomez.

Turning around, I saw my real family standing there with happiness in their eyes and smile. My brothers phones were whipped out, recording me.

"That was amazing! Where did you learn it?" My mother asked.

"Taught myself," I smiled.

I said goodnight to them then left the room, heading to my bedroom, and flopped down on my bed and as sleep engulfed me.
