Derek's P.O.V.

What have I done? I'm such an idiot. I have a wife, two kids,a wonderful job, and a great life.

Why would I throw all of this away for Washington? It's my dream. But it is not my family's

MEREDITH'S P.O.V.

The house felt like fire. I had to leave and go talk to someone. I guess I will go to Callie and Arizona's house. So Zola will have something to do.

*20 Minutes later*

My face was covered in tears. Zola kept asking questions but I gave her a Barbie doll for her to play with. I knocked on Callie and Arizona's house.

I saw Arizona with her hair in a ponytail and in her pajamas. She greeted me with a smile before she saw my face.

"What happened?" She says, " Derek left me f-f-for Washington!" I said to the best of my ability without crying in front of the kids.

She let me inside and called Sofia so Zola and her could go play.

" I'm sure he didn't leave you for Washington! He loves you and the kids! He just probably needs space."

DEREK'S P.O.V.
I rented a motel room. I just needed to think. I want to go to Washington but I need my family.

I need to go over there! We can work something out.
*phone rings*

President: "Is this Derek Shepard?

Derek:Yes? Who is this?

President: The president of The UnitedStates.

Derek: Oh wow! What do you need?

President: Well an error occurred do you think you can come tomorrow?

Derek: Um.. I don't think so.

President: We need you! I'm having a jet fly out to your residence tomorrow. I will also have a room for you in the White House! Okay? Bye.

Derek dropped his phone. He was shocked. He started to cry. But he had to do something.
