I figured out how to do the surgery. It will be risky and I will need general,cardio,ortho, and everyone else I can get.I am preparing my presentation for the rest of the board.Meredith walks up to me and says "The president is expecting a call! What are we doing? " "Do you want to go?" I say "Derek! I don't want to go. but I love you and whatever you want to do I will do."she said I love her do much. "I will make the call to the president right now."

President:Derek you finally called!

Derek: Sorry! The hospital can be a busy place!

President: So do we have an answer?

Suddenly it all hit. I met Meredith here.Both my kids are here. My hospital is here.My friends are here.My life is here. I belong in Seattle.

Derek:This is a once and a lifetime opportunity.This is an honor.But I-I will have to d-decline. I'm terribly sorry.

President: You must come!You will change the face of medicine!

Derek: I'm already changing the face of medicine.

President: Derek, I guess we will send back everything then.Goodbye Derek.

All of the sudden my phone buzzes it's the president! I answer quickly.

Derek:Hello!

President: Derek we have another surgeon of your specialty that is willing to be directed by you. The only thing I would like to video chat every day and for you to fly out every other weekend.

Derek: I accept.

President : See you on the webcam tomorrow.Goodbye.

Derek:Bye.

The line ends. Everything works out! Oh my gosh everything works out!I realize it's time for my meeting.

I walk in the board room doors.

An: I decided to make this a cliff hanger and the next chapter will be 13.5 So it will be a three parted chapter! Fun!
