[Epilogue]
A few months after Dirk's death, the apocalypse finally ended. Only 30% of the worlds population was still alive, Jane being part of it. She had entered a major state of depression ever since the tragic event. She has been having trouble coping with the world now, she has tried to attempt suicide 4 times already, but she knows it isn't what Dirk or her dad would want her to do. She was strong, and she was finally finding it out for herself. She is now trying to get her life together with a survivors support group on the weekends. Every now and then she will allow herself to break down in remorse just to let it all out, make it lighten up a bit a little each time. Other than that, Betty Crocker was executed for causing a worldwide outbreak.
