I felt my eyes flutter open. Oh gosh this wasn't I dream I really was in Neverland! I stretched my back and sat up in my hammock. "You're up." Peter said. He caught me off guard and I gave a small shriek as I flinched. "How long have you been there?!" I asked, creeped out he may have been watching me sleep. "Not long. Why? Did I scare ya?" I scoffed. "No. You just startled me." I swung my legs over the side of the hammock and got up to fully stretch. "Get ready cause today we're going after Captain Hook and his crew." I sighed as I finished stretching and returned my arms to my side. "Where are the lost boys?" I asked as I yawned. "Outside. They're getting ready to find the old codfish." I chuckled lightly at the nickname Peter always gave Captain Hook. "Alright. I'm ready." I announced and he eyed me from head to toe. "No you're not." "What? How am I not?" "You need a weapon. You can't just fight Captain Hook with nothing! You'll be a walking target! Here pick one of these." He showed me a wooden box with various slingshots, daggers and a rusty old sword. The sword seemed to speak to me somehow like it was calling out for me to choose it. It was familiar like something from my childhood that I'd buried into the back of my mind but I couldn't put my finger on where I'd seen it before. I wrapped my hand around the handle and lifted it up. "Not a bad choice. Rusty, but not bad. Now let's go meet up with the lost boys!" He squealed before picked me up bridal style and soaring out of one of the openings in the tree. We landed outside of the tree where the lost boys were busy using slingshots at false targets or fighting each other with wooden daggers as practice. Peter landed on his feet, still holding on to me. I wiggled out of his arms and on to my own feet. "You know you don't have to carry me, let alone carry me like that." I said as I pointed a threatening finger at him. But he only smirked. "Why not? Did it make you uncomfortable." "No. But it ain't necessary." He chuckled as we approached the lost boys. "Attention!" Peter called to the boys who lined up in order of height. "Today we are going to hunt down the old codfish to save Neverland!" He announced as he paced around in front of the boys like a military leader. "What a nice little pep talk." "Why thank you." He said with a fake little bow. I laughed and straightened my stance. "Now let's go get ourselves a cod fish!" I shouted and all the lost boys cheered in agreement.
