"Are you ready, your majesty?" Sir Oak asked me. I gave a small smirk. "As I'll ever be." It had been three weeks since I had saved Neverland and it was time for me to be crowned queen. I had spent all morning with my ladies in waiting, Lilly, Lavender, and Lilac, getting ready for this. Sir Oak took me from my room to the grand hall. Most of the castle, like my room, looked like a large log cabin. That was mainly because the castle was made up of trees that had sprouted up from the ground. My ladies in waiting ran up to me and followed me and Sir Oak to the grand hall. "You look beautiful, Elyse!" "Yeah! Captain Pine of the royal guard will eat up the sight of you!" I felt my cheeks redden. "Oh hush." I said with a laugh. Captain Pine was of course the captain of the royal guard but he was very fine if I say so myself. He had Snow White pale skin and crystal blue eyes. His brown hair was always a slight mess. He was always tough but had a sweet side that could always make me and my ladies in waiting swoon like school girls. Anyways, I entered the grand hall. Citizens of Neverland were all seated in the hall and they all rose once I entered. Peter, the lost boys, and Tinkerbell were in the front, smiling and waving at me with great energy. I laughed quietly when I saw them. Sir Oak lead me too the center. I stood in the center of the hall. Captain Pine handed me a golden staff that matched my diadem and a small golden orb that was covered in crystal flowers. "Do you, Princess Elyse Ivy, promise to serve Neverland fairly and to protect the citizens of said land with all you have? To uphold the monarchy set before you and to honor those before you?" Captain Pine asked me as I looked straight forward, holding the staff and orb, looking as regal as I could. "I do." "Then it is my pleasure to announce to the people of Neverland, Queen Ivy II." He shouted as he announced me. "Hail Queen Ivy II." The people cheered as they all bowed to me.
My life after this was more then normal. I didn't exactly rule the way everyone wanted or expected me to. Yes I would take care of my kingdom but there were very often times when I was off adventuring with Peter, Tinkerbell, and the lost boys. I would trade out my elegant green ivy gown for tan sailor slacks, a mint green blouse, and brown knee high boots. We would chase after pirates, search for treasure, find fairies and other fun little quests. To be quite honest, these were my happiest times. The times I spent with Peter where the times when my dreams came true. I mean, yes being a queen is nice, but being a friend of Peter's is way more then I could have ever asked for.
