FRAGILE HEART
Poultice lullabies slip past your lips
Rings my ears like soothing church bells
Heart opens with hesitation
Door screeching from its elder days of isolation
Your eyes are pearls
Shining beneath stygian oceans
Succumbed to your charm
I am thrown in your arms despite being feeble
And no regret is felt either
