Heights

We were heading to the amusement park today. I was super excited for all the rides. After the slight panic attack before it starts.

"WE'RE HERE!!" Jungkook yells.

We all pile out once we stop. We went up to the ticket area and bought us a day pass. It was one of those rare times we got a day off. So we wanted to do something fun.

"Oh let's go on that first!"

"No that one!"

"Why not that one!"

Everyone was pointing out rides we should go on. I didn't say anything cause I'd rather have them pick.

"Yah! Why don't we go on something calming first." Namjoon silences them.

"What ride?" Jimin asks.

"Why not the Farris wheel?" Hoseok suggests.

"Yeah!" Everyone cheered but me.

"You know, I'm gonna sit this ride out. I'll just uh-just uh get some food. Yeah." I say pointing to food stands.

"No way! The first ride we go on is together." Tae says putting an arm around my shoulders.

I start to shake a little. Only Yoongi knows about my fear. He's the only one I can talk to about this. Other than Jimin. But he doesn't know about that.

"I think I'll Join Brittany in getting some food." Yoongi says walking to stand beside me.

I silently thank him with my eyes. The others just say ok. We then walk over to the food counter and order food as they walk to the ride.

"Thank you Yoongi for not letting me go on that thing. I was forced to ride a couple Ferris wheels and I hated every second of it." I say.

"Your welcome. I remember you telling me how much you hate heights." He replied.

We finish eating and went to met up with the others. The maknaes came over to me and described the view. They seemed really excited about it.

"Roller coaster time!" Jungkook yells.

"Wait! We are gonna split up into two groups. It's obvious what the groups are. Maknaes and Hyungs. At 8:30 meet back here so we can leave. Disburse!" Namjoon said.

Us maknaes ran off as the hyungs just walked. We saw a coaster and got in line. Well, we had fast passes so we didn't have to wait. Of course they wanted to sit up front. So we did. But I got in one of the middle seats.

"Are you guys ready?" Tae asks.

"Oh yeah!" Jungkook and Jimin said. I didn't say anything.

Jungkook was on the end, Jimin beside him, then me and Tae. Once the ride started I grabbed Jimins hand. I closed my eyes to concentrate on breathing. Once I was good I open my eyes again to be met with a great view. Once we got going I was laughing the whole time.

The ride came to an end and we got off and were so hyped for the other rides to come. At the beginning of roller coasters I'm scared but once it starts I'm fine. I don't know. It's weird.

"That was so much fun!" I say in excitement.

"Someone's mood changed." Jungkook says.

"At the beginning she grabbed my hand. But after we started to really go she let go of it." Jimin says.

"Hey! At the beginning I get nervous ok? But once it starts I'm good!" I say in protest.

We then look around for the next ride. Tae pointed to a really high drop tower. I gulp from the height. Just looking at it makes me feel sick and dizzy.

"U-uh n-no. I'm not g-gonna join o-on that one." I say sitting on the nearest bench.

"Oh come on Brittany! It'll be fun!" Jungkook begs.

"Don't be scared." Jimin says.

"It's fine Brittany." Tae adds.

They all start to do aegyo knowing I couldn't say no to it. But not this time.

"No. You can make me go on that thing. And yes I'm scared. What if something breaks? Like a wire? Back in America we had a ride like this and a wire broke." I say pointing to the ride.

"But this won't. It has strong wires that'll take more than that to break. Just come on." Jungkook keeps begging.

"I don't get why your so scared?" Tae asks.

"Do you guys really wanna know?" I ask in a soft voice.

They all nod. "It's because I'm scared of heights. Majorly. That's why I didn't go on the Ferris wheel. Yoongi is the only one who knows so he stayed back with me." I say looking down.

I could feel all three of there auras change. Thy all then sit down beside me.

"We didn't know that. Or we wouldn't have even suggested it." Jimin says placing a hand on my arm.

"You guys can go on it if you like. I'll stay here and look for other rides." I say smiling to them.

"Alright. If your sure you'll be ok." Tae says.

"I'll be fine. Promise." I say smiling to them.

They get up and walk to the line people to show their fast passes. I looked around and spotted a ride that spins. I decided I would tell them about that one. I then look on the other side of me to see another roller coaster. This day was gonna be fun.

Ok so I SOOOO relate to this chapter. I will not go on Ferris wheels at all. Or drop towers. I went on one two times in a row cause I was forced. But mini ones I'm fine with. Anyways leave a suggestion. This was a lot longer than I thought it would be. Hope you enjoyed!!!
