Scratches

I was sitting in my room scratching my arm. I know I shouldn't be doing this but the burning feeling that happens when the area of skin turns raw. And the scratches that appear after awhile. It just felt to good to stop.

This habit attracted a long time ago but the guys never noticed. I always wore sweatshirts or long sleeves. During photo shoots when I had a T-shirt on I just hid my arm.

Once I thought I had done enough I looked at my arm. I had several open scratches and a nice burning feeling. I put on an oversized sweatshirt.

"Brittany we're having a mover night. C'mon." Jin said through my door.

"Coming!" I replied back.

I walked out and all the guys were spread out throughout the living room. I sat by Hoseok on the one couch. There was a scary movie that was ready to play. I enjoyed scary movies so I don't mind this.

~Time skip 3 movies~

I slowly felt myself drift to sleep. I moved myself to the floor to lay down better. I tried my best to stay awake but failed. Last thing I remember was drifting to sleep.

Yoongis POV

It was the next morning and Jin and I were the only ones up. He was in the kitchen making breakfast. I looked around and the maknaes were all on the ground. Taehyung was leaning on Jungkook while Jimin laid next to Brittany.

I walked around to find my phone. When I looked down to step over Jimin and Brittany, I noticed that her arm was extremely red. And had some dried blood. I lifted it up to take a closer look.

"Hey Jin. Can you come here?" I ask quietly.

He walks in. "What do you need?"

I motioned him to be quiet and to come closer. I showed him her arm and he looked at it in shock.

"What has she been doing to herself?" Jin asked himself.

"Well it's not cut marks. It's scratch marks." I say to him.

She started to stir around so we quickly left. Once we were in the kitchen she had finally woken up.

Brittany's POV

I woke up and saw Jimin beside me. He was still fast asleep. I heard noise in the kitchen and saw Yoongi and Jin in there.

"What are you guys making?" I ask when I walk in.

"French toast." Jin replies.

"Sounds awesome. I'm gonna go change." I say turning to leave.

Yoongis POV (I know so many)

I followed her to her room and as she stepped in I caught up to her. I stopped the door from closing and stepped when she looked at me confusingly.

"Brittany is there anything you wanna tell me? Or any of the other members?" I ask her.

She thought for a little bit. "No not that I know of." She said shaking her head no slowly.

"Are you sure?"

"I'm positive. Everything's ok from what I know of."

"Then explain this." I say grabbing her arm and rolling up her sleeve. 

After I did that she didn't make eye-contact.

"Just tell me." I say letting her arm go.

"It's a habit I have. I've tried multiple times to try and stop but I can't it just feels to good to me."

"Why didn't you tell one of us? We could've helped you."

"I was to shy to. It first started a couple weeks after I joined. Since then it just became a habit." She says finally looking up.

I pull her into a hug. She wasn't expecting it since I normally don't hug anyone.

"It's ok. Just tell me if you feel the need to scratch. I'll talk with you so you forget about it." I say to her looking her in the eyes.

She nodded. "Thanks Yoongi. I will."

~Months later~

Brittany hasn't been scratching at all anymore. She still comes to talk to me but just not as much. The other members don't know about it still. Only Jin. She still has faint scars but that's all.

"I see you've completely stopped. I'm proud of you." I say to her when I go to her room.

"Thanks Yoongi. I couldn't have done it without your help." She says hugging me.

We continued to talk for awhile. Jin then called us out for lunch. He looked at us and smiled showing he knew she stopped. Brittany and I both smiled back.

"So she stopped?" Jin asked when he walked up to me.

"Yeah. I told her to talk to me whenever she feels the need to do it. It now became a one time thing a day." I reply back.

"Good." He says then walks to the table to sit down.

I sit down as well and I see Brittany and Jungkook messing around. Typical maknaes.

Ok so I hope you've enjoyed this chapter. I have actually scratched my arm till it left marks. It actually happened Tuesday maybe. I still have marks. Anyways comment below what you want to suggest.
