2/11/18 ~ 2.3.1.1 - I'm adding new dialogue, plot points, culture of Darthon, and moving things from post chapters to this one.
IF YOU DON'T KOW WHAT THAT ^ MEANS, THEN READ BELOW
This is where I'll post news about Updates, Announcements, and Plot shenanigans that happen when I update Published parts or new Parts.
The numbers #.#.#.# will help out on what I've changes in the book. I plan on going back into Scars and updating it's dialogue to not be like theater script. Dialogue is people actually talking while text is anything not in "quotation marks." These tidbits are useful.
The first number represents the Story I've updated. So lets say I have 6 stories, and I update the second, (which is actually Prince Merlin) the numbers will look like this - 2.#.#.#
The second number represents what chapter of the story I updated. As of now I'm working on Chapter 6 of Prince Merlin, so it'll look like this - 2.6.#.#
The third number is to show a plot development, such as moving something from another chapter to the one I'm updating, or simply adding another plot point, such as introducing a person, idea, or concept (like something new to Darthon culture) that wasn't there before. Every time I update and do this I will make this number go up and give a brief description of what changed without revealing anything if possible, or simply saying that something new was added. let's say I've used this number system 3 times, the number would look like this - 2.6.3.#
The fourth number will show that I've changed dialogue, weather that meaning I've added more to pre-existing dialogue or added new dialogue. The reason I didn't put this with the third number is because when (if even) I go back to Scars, I will be updating the dialogue mostly, so I want to be able to show if I've simply changed wording or set up of dialogue without making you think I changed a plot point, you going back into that chapter to see, only to find out that I simply changed the wording to sound more like the person talking. This also goes with text, where if I were to simply change the wording in text to better describe something, I wouldn't want you to go through a chapter only to find out I changed how I described an action, like instead of "ate." I changed it to "scarfed down his chicken." This also means simple Grammar checks. So lets say I've followed this number system 7 times, the number would look like this - 2.6.3.7
So to sum it up in words, the numbers 2.6.3.7 means this,
-Story 2, Chapter 6, Plot change number 3, Dialogue and/or text change number 7.
Because I've only just started this system, the current numbers are 2.3.1.1
I'll be adding the date in the title and next to that dates updates numbers so that when you see a more recent date (like that day's date) you know there's been an update. This is mostly for anyone that doesn't have notification on.
So! *claps hands together* I'll be setting it up at the beginning of this chapter so you don't have to scroll to the end of this explanation in order to quickly see the update numbers. The most recent will be the first and the oldest will be the last. I'll leave the date so over time you'll see what I mean and my sporadic updating style. If you have question ask away!
