Hana's POV
I slowly trudged towards my classroom with so many thoughts clouding my head.
Is Sooyeon telling the truth?
Will I be able to avoid him?
What if he finds out?
What if he gets hurt?
Why is this happening to me?
I entered the classroom to see jungkook sitting at the far end of the room looking at his textbook. I was about to quietly move to the other end of the room so that I'm away from him when he shouted.
"Hana, here!", I quickly turned around to see him waving his hand to signal me to come over. I mentally sighed since this was what I was trying NOT to do.
I was thinking if I should go to him or not when the teacher suddenly entered the classroom making everyone return to their seats.
"good morning class, Miss Jung why are you just standing there?", stated Mr Lee making me jerk my head towards him.
"eh? O-oh sorry sir", I said as I bowed and sat on the seat closest to me.
Mr lee started his lesson as I tried my best to listen but all I could think about was what Sooyeon said this morning.
Suddenly, my phone vibrated in my pocket. I looked to see Mr Lee facing the board, so I slowly fished my phone out of my pocket.

Jungkook: meet me at rooftop lunchtime
I gulped as I read the message and looked towards jungkook who was looking at me to give an answer. I hesitantly nodded which made him smile with his bunny teeth.
Oh my god, what will I do now?!
Jungkook's POV
I was looking at my textbook when from the corner of my eye I saw Hana walking in.
"Hana, here!", I shouted waving my hand in the air. She looked at me hesitantly as if she was deciding if she should come or not. I was about to ask what's wrong when Mr Lee suddenly entered the classroom.
"good morning class, Miss Jung why are you just standing there?", stated Mr Lee making Hana look towards him.
"eh? O-oh sorry sir", she said as she sat down at a desk.
Mr Lee started the lesson as everyone focused on the board. When Mr Lee's attention was on the board, I quickly took my phone out and sent a text to Hana.
To: my future girlfriend
Me: meet me at rooftop lunchtime
I looked towards Hana to see her trying to get her phone without letting Mr Lee know. She stared at her phone for a few seconds before looking towards me and slowly but somehow hesitantly nodding her head.
Good, now all I need to do is confess
Nothing will go wrong........right?
Hana's POV
{brringggggg}
"don't forget to complete page 332", said Ms Kim over the bell as everyone rushed out to lunch.
I was about to leave too when I realised Jungkook asked me to meet him at the rooftop. I wonder why? Should I go? I did say I would though but what if Sooyeon finds out?
Aishhh, I said I'll go, so I'll go.
I nodded at myself and made my way to the rooftop.

"hello?", I said as I peeked my head into the rooftop to see jungkook standing there looking out to the beautiful view of Seoul.
"oh Hana! You came!", he said as I nodded.
"what's up?", I asked trying not to sound nervous.
"wellllll....... u-um, I w-was just g-gonna say tha-, ummmm", he stuttered as I looked at him slightly confused.
"sorry, what did you say?", I asked him as he started tapping his foot on the floor repeatedly.
That's weird, he only does that when he's nervous.
"it's j-just tha-", I sighed as I didn't know what he was trying to say. I was about to say something when suddenly.
"I love you", he finally said.
those 3 words and 8 letters made me freeze on the spot.
I didn't know what to do, what to say, how to react, nothing.
"I'm sorry kookie, but I don't", I said looking down at the pavement.
there were tears welding up in my eyes, but I kept them in.
"but I hope we can still be friends", I said.
"Hana, please at least give me a chanc-", I cut him off.
"I'm sorry Jungkook", with that I spun on my heels and walked away.
It hurts so much to reject him like that. I love him, but I can't.
he will forever be friend zoned.

i would like to sincerely apologise to my readers about the fact that i haven't updated for 3 weeks. it's because i moved houses so it took a little while to get internet but now that i have it i will be updating regularly.
short chapter because i didn't know how to make it any longer, but i will be updating tomorrow if i feel like it.
