We were on a stroll on the black sand beach the next 2 months, finding the perfect place for target practice. Our parents found every place we used for it, so this time we were finding a new spot. This time, though, Bentle and Monterey went with Rosey and I, who were the only ones with a weapon.

But then, we saw a cave that looked a little mysterious. "Hey, let's look into that cave over there!" Monterey said, pointing to the cave.

"Always the daredevil," I commented.

"That's right. Obviously, no one from our village has been in this cave. So what's the point of going in there and becoming lost?" Bentle said.

"How do you know?" His younger brother exclaimed.

"Because no one has told us about it!"

"I'm with Monterey, though. If there is anyone there, we can use our weapons on someone instead of trees!" Rosey said, taking her staff out. I shrugged my shoulders, and agreed with her, and took out my DH-17 out of the holster.

"Let's go look," I said. Monterey followed Rosey and I, and Bentle reluctantly went with us.

I pointed my blaster to several spots, making sure it was clear, and Rosey held her staff like she was ready to hit something big.

Monterey was right behind Rosey, holding onto her arm and Bentle tip-toeing behind all of us.

Then, I heard something say my name. Frightened, I halted, and put my blaster down. "Do you guys hear that?"

The sound got louder and echoing off the walls. "No, I don't hear a thing," Rosey said, and tapped her weapon on my back, indicating I should continue walking.

"Wait, I don't think we should continue," I say, a little startled with chills running down my spine.

"Why not? We have to keep searching." Rosey says with an angry voice.

"What does that mean? We aren't searching for anything! So why don't we just stop here and just look around the area we have already covered."

She lowered her weapon, and so did I. Then she nodded and told our brothers to spread out and look. I did the same thing and just looked around to see anything interesting.

A couple of minutes into it, Bentle started to walk towards me. "So, have you found anything?" he asked.

I shook my head, and then he crouched down to my level and put his arm around my shoulders. He sighed, and then spoke, "Are you doing well?"

I got up and walked to another area. "I'm doing fine."

He got up and followed me. "Well, Rosey is a little concerned." the 12-year-old human spoke with a high pitch.

I turned around. "Why is she concerned? Of all people?"

"Because of what happened 2 months ago? When you turned 13?" Bentle exclaimed like I was stupid.

"I don't know what you're talking about," I replied in an attitude.

"Wow, what's with the attitude?" he said shocked.

I sighed and just continued to look. "It was nothing. I was just deep in meditation that day before we came home from the beach." I said and sat down on the cold rock walls.

"Oh, so something did actually happen?" He said with a smirk and sat next to me.

I shoved him. "It was like any other meditation day. Nothing happened."

"It has nothing to do with you hearing things lately?"

"For one, I haven't heard things lately, and two it has nothing to do with that," I confirmed, although lying.

"Okay, fine. I'll leave you alone. Apparently, you need that." Bentle said and walked away.

I sat alone, looking at everyone else searching for something we didn't know. I obviously didn't know how to answer the questions honestly that Bentle asked, so I meditated. I crossed my legs, placed my hands on my knees, closed my eyes and began to delve into my thoughts.

I opened my eyes, but I wasn't in the cave. At first, it was black with lights flashing. But then those flashing became an image. A moving image, like a hologram-like image of a mid-aged man. The image began to talk, and it sounded like the Voice.

"Jin'Janson. Jin, can you hear me?" the mystic voice asked.

"Who are you? Why are you in my head?" I responded.

The voice sighed and spoke again. "Patience, young one."

I sighed in anger. "Just answer the question!"

He sighed again, and finally answered it. "My name is Qui-Gon Jinn."

I scoffed. "You make it seem like you're important."

"I was a Jedi Master of Obi-Wan Kenobi. I learned the Living Force but did not finish my studying, for I was killed by a Sith Lord named Darth Maul. So you may only hear my voice. Unless you are on a planet filled with the Force."

I laughed. "Yeah, right. Like you totally trained Obi-Wan Kenobi."

His face didn't waver. "You are actually being serious?"

"Why would I lie?" He asked making a hand gesture.

There was silence, and I broke it with a question. "Well, 'Master Qui-Gon', why have you come to see me?"

"I have come to see you because I sensed great powers of the force, both the Dark and the Light, on this planet. And I found it in this cave, and I found it in you. That's what drew you to the staff and this cave, right?"

I made a confused face, and forced my chin into my neck making a double chin, and came out of it. "You're not being serious. I don't have the force. That's impossible!"

"I am not lying. This is the truth. And I came to seek it out, to see if it was true."

I gulped, having a lot of information coming at one time, and asked, "How did I not know?"

"You have to answer that."

"Well, then how can I use it?"

He answered, "There is an elder of your village, a former Jedi, and he will instruct you."

I sighed. "So I'll have to call you master?"

He laughed, and just said, "I'll see you again, young one." and the image of him disappeared, and I was left alone in the dark. So I closed my eyes again and opened them. And there I was, again, in the cave.

My siblings were still searching the cave! I was shocked since it seemed I was gone for so long, and then again we have been searching for such a long time.

I jumped up, picked up my satchel, and placed my blaster into the holster. "I need to go."

They all looked back at me. "Why, all of a sudden. First, we don't continue searching the cave, and now you want to leave?" Rosey complained.

"Well, first of all, I always wanted to leave. That's why I stopped, remember? And second, I just remembered I needed to take care of something."

Stammering, she responded. "W-well, then we have to go with you!"

I shook my head. "No you don't, you can stay and search. I won't trash the party." I said and walked toward the entrance that was far away. "I'll see you at home," I said, waving goodbye.

They waved, and I continued to walk out.
