Found Out

I was wondering around just like any normal day, my green hood up covering my hair and eyes from view. I'd heard about bandits in the area so I made sure to be extra cautious and alert as I walked around looking for shelter. I thought about the area I was in and it was close to the Clarines border and Tanbarun hearing vague rumors of a girl with hair as read as an apple. Supposedly she was hanging around the Princes of both kingdoms. Not that it concerned me in any way.

My problems were a little different, not only was I being hunted for slavery but.. I honestly didn't remember my past. I remembered these woods and having my weapons. My hair and eyes.. each contained two colors. My hair starts off as an almost blood orange before fading to complete red and my eyes are red and blue. Depending upon which eye you are looking at you may see more red or more blue.

Even so I continued my way forward learning to evade and fight, no one could win against me. Well not many people anyway. A few ways were to somehow get the drop on me and the other was to poison me. While I had a high tolerance for poisons now some were still damaging and could slow me down.

I jumped from branch to branch stopping to listen every ten or so feet. When I came to my final stop I was hearing hoof beats and so I clung to the shadows listening and watching. I heard voices talking picking out a few names. Zen, Shirayuki, and Obi I saw someone who looked like he understood the woods as well as I did first. He was holding the reins of a horse as he walked by moving his hands around as he spoke to the group.

Next was a white haired noble looking male holding the hand of a red haired female. That red hair caught me off guard slightly causing me to make a slight noise in the tree. This stopped the whole group as two guard looking people came over with swords, one male and one female. The sketchy looking one was scanning the trees while everyone else looked at ground level.

"Master, what do you think that was?" The sketchy looking one asked continuing to scan the tree line. I calmed my breathing trying my best to blend into the environment, though I could tell he was good at what he did.

"I don't know Obi. See anything Mitsuhide, Kiki?" I watched them shake their heads while this Obi character seemed to be eyeing where I stood. This caused me to reach for my bow, I was not going to get captured by anyone.

"You there in the tree, I think it would be wise if you came down and tossed your weapon!" He called out still looking at me. There was one thing that stuck to me about this guy, it was his eyes. They were very cat like and even so I slid down the back of the tree pulling an arrow out in the process.

"I don't think I will give you my weapon. I want you to start leaving here, leave me in peace and we won't have any trouble." I said standing now just past the trunk my bow aimed at the female guard. She seemed like she was the brunt of the group, even so I was ready to swing my bow in any direction and shoot if I deemed necessary.

"Wow, wow, hold on. We aren't here to cause problems. If you lower the bow we can talk this out like civilized people." The white haired noble spoke up standing before the girl with the red hair.

"I don't see a need to talk. You leave, no fight win, win. So I suggest you take my offer and leave before you regret it." I said narrowing my eyes now aiming the bow at him. I really didn't want to fight seeing as I was still healing from the one I'd had a few days ago. The wound on my back and chest still hot as I searched for healing herbs. I felt the sweat drop down my face and my eyes blur slightly as we stood at a stale mate. Each of us waiting for the other to make the first move.

Problem was that as soon as I lost my balance my bow was kicked away from me causing me to jump back away from the sketchy one. "So... You go by Obi? Really?" I asked trying to divert attention away from me as I reached for my knives, he seemed to do the same. My bow and arrows now just out of my reach.

"Yeah, and I would advise against any hostile action to my master otherwise you are going to have to face me." I looked to each person in turn my hood still covering my face from view.

"Sorry, but I don't intend on becoming anyone's slave today." I turned to make it look like I was about to run and grabbed my knives before rounding the trunk and blocking the first set of blows Obi sent my way. I really didn't want to fight, I just wanted them to leave. I moved my hand to wipe the sweat that was threatening to fall into my eyes and next thing I knew I was on the ground groaning as I landed on my injuries. Obi now standing over me with his knife at my neck. We were both glaring at each other just before I made my maneuver to get free. He tried to counter but I countered his counter managing to get a little ways away.

I sat on one of my knees panting, the rate this was going I was going to get captured for sure. Then I noticed everyone's guards down as they stared at me, this caused me to lift my hand noting my hood had fallen during the scuffle. I mumbled a curse under my breath and made a move to stand only to fall forward unable to get up again. My breaths harsh as I took each of them, noting the red haired one rush past the white haired noble and up to me. She seemed to pull out her bag and look to the others.

"I think she must have been injured in a previous fight, it explains why she doesn't trust us. I want to help her." I could see the determination in her eyes before I closed my own having given up. I just didn't have the strength to fight anymore.

"Miss, are you sure you should be that close to her. She is still dangerous." I could hear his footsteps coming closer to me as I lie there unable to move. I tried to close my hand around my knife only for it to be kicked away. "See."

"She can't even move, I'll be fine. So stop.." The rest of what she was saying faded out until I couldn't hear anything anymore. It was just complete darkness surrounding me, I was certain at this point I was done for.
