His Embrace

"Obi! (Y/n), is everything alright?" I could hear a voice calling my name though I didn't know who it belonged to. Getting out of the embrace I was currently in I looked over to see a noble with a swords man and woman and the red haired female. I quickly stood up and started backing away as I tried to think of the best course of action.

But the man I had been with seemed calm as he waved to them, I held my arms to my chest. If he was alright with them maybe it was okay. Nodding with my resolve I looked at the newcomers who seemed to stand off slightly worried. "I don't think I have the pleasure of having made your acquaintance. I am (Y/n), last princess of Lido before my brother Eric and I ran away. Might I have your name sir." I asked politely like I had trained to do when at the palace, everyone's eyes looked shocked and startled by this information. Including the man who I had been speaking with.

The white haired noble seemed to get a hold of himself shaking his head a few times. "I'm Zen Wistaria, second prince of Clarines, these are my retainers Kiki, Mitsuhide and Obi." He said pointing to each of them in turn. I made a small bow before turning my attention to the red haired lady who was staring at me confused before Obi gave her a small nudge.

"I'm Shirayuki, court herbalist. Nice to meet you?" She asked that last bit unsure of what else to say. I again bowed politely turning my attention to Zen.

"What is going on here Obi?" He asked turning to face away from me. Obi just held his hands up in defeat shaking his head.

"Honestly.. not a clue. Mentally she is a five year old who just lost her parents and brother to some nobles who have been hunting her and her brother Eric for display. That is what I got out of what she has been telling me anyway." I nodded slowly folding my arms to hold my hands in in front of my waist.

"Wait did you say Lido?" Zen turned back to me and I nodded again to show that I had indeed spoke that name. "That means that coup that killed the King and Queen leaving the two missing children.. Oh.. so that is why that lord hunted her." I raised a brow in confusion.

"What lord?" I asked trying to think of which lord he could have been speaking about.

"Lord Yukemria, he came looking for his property, but if my assumption is correct than it is much worse than that." My eyes glanced to each of them seeing the worried looks on their faces. "Obi, how is she at fighting? Does she still remember how?"

"More or less. I don't think she could win in a fair fight though, from what I can tell most of it is muscle memory." He replied glancing in my direction.

"My brother was teaching me royal sword play and how to shoot a bow before we fell of the cliff." I stated still very confused. Mitsuhide and Kiki shared a glance and Shirayuki seemed to look just as worried to Zen.

"We need to speak with Lord brother, do you mind accompanying us?" I shook my head glancing to the castle in the distance.

"I suppose so, why?" I asked before Obi took my hand his fingers seeming to slide in between my own as he started to pull me behind him the others already having started to walk away. I had to run to keep up with them as we entered the castle and followed them to a large room. Zen nocked telling Kiki, Mitsuhide and Shirayuki to wait for us in the hall.

"Come in." I heard a voice from inside and Zen opened the doors and strode in with Obi pulling me in behind him. "Ah, Zen it would seem your pet has finally woken up."

"Lord brother, about that, we have some interesting news regarding who she is and where she came from." He started but the man held his hand up to silence them. I held onto Obi's jacket looking at the man who looked very similar to my brother.
