As the Chevy pulls out of the drive way, your breathing seems to be the only thing that's on your mind. Jessica is no longer here to keep you moving, and no longer have you been attached to Rick. Ever since the accident he has distanced himself from you.

Daryl and Michonne have taken a separate vehicle for storage reasons. That means it leaves Rick, Carl, and you alone in the Chevy. The silence that has covered you all for several miles already is driving you out of your mind. You take this opportunity to share your thoughts.

"I'm not a loon."

Rick and Carl look at you with a look of confusion. Both are dumbfounded by your honesty.

"Excuse me?" Rick responds.

"Yeah, what the hell?" Carl scoffs.

"Watch it Carl." Rick warns.

You look down, ashamed you're opening this much in front of Carl, "I'm not crazy, I'm not going to go ballistic. I lost my sister, not my mind."

"We never said-"

"You didn't have to say anything! Your actions are screaming that you're afraid!" You scream, cutting off Rick.

He looks away from you and back at the road. You have managed to get in his face, pushing Carl back and spitting your rage. Carl backs up from the crease of the seat and sits back down. You calm down a bit and slump in the chair. You look at both of them, now they really are going to treat you like a loon. It wasn't suppose to end like this.

"I'm sorry," You whisper.

Rick looks at you and at the rear view mirror to glance at the others. He looks to the side and then proceeds to pull over, the others follow him.

"Look," Rick starts," I get it, I do. You lost someone. So did we. We're not going to treat you like a crazy person. But you have to just calm down."

There was a sudden knock on the window. Daryl stood with a confused look on his face, shaking his head and squinting. Rick shook his head and rolled down the window. Daryl asked him  what was going on, If we forgot something. Rick told him we would be moving momentarily and that was that. Daryl walked back to the truck and Rick rolled up his window.

"We can talk about this privately. Later." Rick said.

He extended his arm and patted your thigh, creeping his hand slightly inward. You turn pink and he smiles at you. When he takes back his hand, he starts the truck and pulls into the road.

Almost two weeks have passed and you all have not yet have you found anyone. Fuel is running low and there is only enough food for one meal. Sunlight is running out and so is everyone's patients. When night finally set, you guys were lucky enough to find a shopping outlet. There are food courts and supplies.

"Ill head over here with Rick and Michonne, Carl you stand watch and get food. Daryl you find stuff." You instruct.

Everyone nods and departs into the outlet. You lead Rick and Michonne to a weaponry store. There, they have arrows, ammo, guns, knives, swords, and batons. Your eyes light up as you explore the cabinets and displays. Rick stays at the front of the building while Michonne helps you gather ammo and knives.

"This can hold us for months!" Michonne says with excitement as she fills the second backpack with bullets.

You smile big at her and nod as you grab assorted knifes and put them in a card board box. You hear moaning come from the back of the store and, with little hesitation, you grab your Spey and walk to the back. Michonne follows with her Katana pulled. In the darkness, you can see the faint outline of a door. The broken glass has a mesh wire holding back a Walker. Its face is distraught and mangled from the struggling.

"Just let it be." You say lowering your knife.

You turn back and Michonne looks at you with questioning eyes. You step aside, taking the feeling that she wants it dead. She looks at it and lowers her head as she slices the mesh and its head at the same time. You slip your knife back as Michonne slips her weapon back. When you both emerge from the darkness, Rick has managed to finish collecting the ammo and things.

"Lets head to the auto repair down the hall. If were lucky there might be some cars with fuel." Rick says slinging one of the backpacks over his shoulder. Michonne grabs the other one and you grab the box of knives and your backpack full of ammo.

As you guys walk out, you see the others joining you with full backpacks as well. You offer to take the stuff to the truck and set it in the bed. Everyone agrees, Rick and you take everyone's findings and shuffle over to the bed of he truck.

"We found a lot. Maybe a few weeks?" You say handing Rick a backpack.

He smiles and nods, "If were lucky, we will get 4 months out of the ammunition. The knives will come in handy, too."

You smile, proud of the stuff, and hand him a box. When you two are finally finished, you head back inside to find the group surrounding a food court. Something smells good, and sort of like food.
