Clay's POV

Cayden. . .

Cayden. . . Wake. . .

Cayden. . . Wake. . . Up. . .

Cayden Silver. . . Wake up. . .

Cayden Silversword. . .

I opened my eyes and slightly wished I didn't as harsh sunlight filled my vision. Wincing, I sat up and felt a jolt of pain in my ba—

Wait, wasn't I dead? I was shot in the heart by Monstrox! I'm supposed to be dead! Pinching myself in the arm, I winced. Nope, not dead.

I opened my eyes fully to see I was on the shores of a giant spring, with a golden bow that seemed to glow beside me, a cobalt carved ocarina in my lap, a satchel, and a glow on my right hand, my magic arm. Looking in the lake, I couldn't believe it.

Wings.

Angel wings.

Right on my back.

Turning around, I saw the shimmering white feathered wings and confirmed that they were there. Okay, I had to be dreaming. I had to be. Pinching myself again, I faced it as a small jolt of pain raced up my arm; not dreaming.

Sighing, I stood up shakily, picked up the glowing bow and ocarina, then looked at my reflection fully in the spring waters.

Well, my hair and face were clean now instead of covered in ashes and my ragged clothes were replaced with a plain beige t-shirt and black leggings, even though my hair nearly brushed my shoulders now. There's something that's good, I think.

The only thing that's bad is;

1. I have no ideas where I am
2. I have flipping angel wings now (and pointed elf ears)
3. I have no idea how to get back
4. My hand is glowing gold (part of it, anyway)
5. If I don't get back soon, then Monstrox is probably going to break his promise and kill my friends.

Sighing, I picked up the bow, picked up the ocarina, and stuffed both in the satchel, which (surprisingly) could fit both in and still remain the size of a messenger bag, and then pulled out a few multicolored rubies from inside.

Maybe I could find somebody to help? Would it even work? I shook my head.

It had to work.
