Impa's POV
I swung my Giant's Knife in an arc, taking out a multitude of Bokoblins. Behind me I could hear the shrieks of dying monsters and cries of exertion, but when I turned, I only saw a young teen around 15 years old swinging a skinny, veined claymore around into monster flesh. As one of the Lizalfos swung its spear at him, he grabbed the spear, thrust it away, then delivered a solid blow to its head, killing it—
Wait.
Grab the weapon, thrust it away, deliver the blow. . .
That's the trainee from the training yard!
Just then, another wave of Bokoblins surrounded me. I sighed and swung my blade, but as I turned in the trainee's direction, he was gone. I swore.
He might be the Hero of Hyrule we need.
Clay's POV
I was swinging my claymore into monster after monster and had just finished off a big lizard-thingy when I heard a scream.
"Help! I'm under siege!"
Running towards the voice, I destroyed the red goblins surrounding the small pixie and helped her up, placing her in my palm.
"You okay?" I asked. The fairy nodded, then perched on my head.
"Name's Proxi. I don't know why you can understand me, but I'll ask later 'cause the monsters are planning to unleash a Dino-like beast called King Dodongo; it sucks in air and genertes fire, I'm gonna bet you have bombs, and its stomach is its weak point. You'll figure out what to do. But first, let's fight!" I smiled and swung my claymore in an arc, channeling my magic into it to unleash a wave of blue light. Many of the other monsters saw and ran, while the red trolls and giant lizards died the moment the blue wave touched them. I smiled and sent out more, obliterating monsters and healing my allies. Just then, I heard a shout behind me.
"Somebody throw a bomb! We need to get to the Princess!" A guard shouted, pointing to a landslide of stone. I pulled out a bomb from my pouch and Proxi carried it over, then dropped it on the rocks. Boom! The rubble cleared and there Princess Zelda was standing, smashing red goblins and giant lizards into smoke with a shining golden rapier glowing a soft blue. The one in lead, Lady Impa I think, charged forward, helping her fight off the monsters. Just then, cackling was heard behind me.
"Foolish mortals! Only a miracle will stop us!" A screechy voice boasted. I turned to see this;
I launched a small shooting star at him behind my back using the Starfall NEXO Power, wagging a finger and smirking. King Dodongo has to be their secret weapon, but not so secret anymore; Proxi already told me King Dodongo's weakness, and I had figured out her vague instructions: stun, hit, and run. Just then the wizard let out a yelp as my star shuriken struck him straight in his red eye, then gasped and pointed a shaky finger at my back. Turning around, I saw the faint outline of an angel wing.
