The next morning, I go to school in search of one person and one person only.

I spot him leaning on his locker. He makes eye contact with me before he tries running off.

"Liam!" I yell after him.

Mason catches him, keeping him from getting too far.

"Where have you been?" I ask as I step up to him. He looks to Mason, who gives him a nod.

"I've been staying at Mason's, I know you don't want to see me." He says, sadly.

"What the hell are you talking about?" I ask, causing Mason to look at me with wide eyes.

"I'll just be... anywhere but here." Mason says awkwardly.

"Everyone is mad at me." Liam says. "They hate me."

"They don't hate you... they might be upset with you, but you need to talk to them." I say, looking at him.

"It's not that simple, Peyton. Scott won't speak to me." Liam says.

"He'll forgive you." I say, nodding to my brother. "Stiles.. now, that's a different story but they have made mistakes as well."

He mulls over my words for a moment before shaking his head.
"So, you don't hate me?" He asked, not meeting my gaze. I felt tears fill my eyes as I looked at him.

"Liam, you're my brother." I let out a quick sob. "I don't hate you. I could never hate you." I place my hand on his shoulder. I feel the guilt rocketing through his body.

"Theo brought some Chimera's back... from the dead." I mumble.

"I know." He replies, looking at me. "Hayden's alive... and Corey."

"Why didn't you tell me?" I ask him, drawing his eyes from Mason.

"I thought you were mad, remember?" He replies. I close my eyes tightly before letting out a breath.

"Look, it's whatever." I say, dismissively. "He brought Tracy and Josh back as well."

"He has a pack." Liam muses.

I nod my head, "Which is why Scott needs you." He looks at me with an uneasy look on his face.

"Listen. Scott and Stiles left to look for Kira. I want you to talk to him later." I say, hugging him.

Mason walks back over to us, joining the hug and causing me to laugh.

"I'll see you later. Stay out of trouble, little pup." I say, walking off towards my class.

I am late. All I want to do is get in my seat without issue, but I know it's not going to happen. Not with this teacher.

"Medical issues." I hear Theo say.

I pause outside the door briefly at his words. Malia walks past me with a look of disgust and I'm not sure whether it's directed at me or him.

Walking in, I avoid everyone's gaze as I take an empty seat far away from Theo.

"You're late." Mrs. Flemming says, looking at me.

"I'm sorry." I offer up any ounce of sincerity I can.
She accepts my apology and turns herself towards the board for today's assignment.

I can feel Theo's stare boring in to the back of my head and I fight the urge to look back at him. Luckily, right before I turn back, my phone vibrates in my pocket.

"We found her." Scott's text sends relief up my spine and I relax a bit before I pull out my notebook.

I get another text almost instantly, this time it's from Liam.
"Corey said Theo called the last chimera 'The Beast'."
