Q: Where did the title, "Let Me Be The One," came from?

A: Ahem, the title actually came from a song I was listening to one day prior to writing the entire series:

Now I started writing the series back in 2011. I don't exactly remember what I was doing that made me listen to this song. I just remembered thinking, "Yes, this is UTurn's winning song, even though it's so cheesy!"

Also, back in 2011 was when The X Factor USA first aired. That show also inspired the TV competition UTurn was on, New England's Teen Superstar.

One more thing: The title of this song also inspired the title of this series, "The One."

Announcements/Updates:

So I've decided to go ahead, and write a proper ending to the whole Popstars:2004 stuff. Even though that version of UTurn is very old, I think it deserves a good closure.

As to where I'll put that short story, I've been thinking about writing a Wattpad-exclusive book that would hold fanfiction-style short stories on UTurn. It would be a companion book to "The One Series," but the stories would not be cannon at all. They would be written as if their fans had been writing these stories. Although the short story to Popstars:2004 will involve the earlier incarnation of UTurn, that story would be in this companion book. I don't know when I'll get to it, but one day will. I just don't know when.

______

Coming up next will be me describing the story banners I've made for Freedom Means Famous are about, or at least attempt to describe them.
