Ever wondered what inspired "The One Series"? Ever thought about the characters? This book will give you all the details on this series, from its origins to the inspirations. There will be major spoilers, but go spoil yourself anyway!

Press Pause:The Intro
So I don't remember how or when I came up with this idea, but I remember this was around the time I was a freshman at a community college. I must've been inspired by that, and my earlier versions of the characters to write this story. I remember it was supposed to be a two-part series. I also remember I posted the first few chapters on a forum that had little to no traffic. Still, I wanted an outlet for my works, and this was just before I discovered Wattpad and Tumblr.
So based on the graphic I made at that time, let me explain who's who:
The guy on the right is Aaron. The girl on the left is Eliza. The top roll are Edward, Jake and Brad. The bottom roll are Stacey, Roxy, Rachel, and Hannah. I know this because I made character cards for these characters.

Once again, top roll are Alyson, Andrew, Justin, and Bailey. Middle roll are Libby and Trevor. Bottom roll are Riley, Stacie, Amanda, and Ethan. As for Derrick, here he is:

If ya'll can't get it, Aaron became Andrew. Eliza became Alyson. Edward became Justin. Stacey became Bailey. Roxy became Riley. Hannah became Amanda. Rachel became Stacie. Brad became Trevor, who will appear a bit later in the new version of The One Series. So what about Jake, Ethan, and the new character Derrick?
Well, based on what I wrote, Jake was, well, kind of emo. He wasn't a lazy ass like Jay was in the Popstar series. Derrick, on the other hand, is a rocker with very strong opinions concerning both the government and society. So basically Derrick had derived from Jake, and wouldn't reappear for a very long time.
As for the plot of this series, well, why give ya'll the details when I can give you original draft? Well, I never finished this story, but I do remember what I had planned for this work.
