The Marriage Interview Part 2

"Otosan?, okasan?,Suminechan?Chun chun? Why all of you are here?"

"Of course for your marriage interview, don't you remember?" said Mrs. Hamao, enlighten his clueless son

"What?, my merr...do you mean that this is my marriage interview and this nice people are my future wife and in-law?"

"Mao....,I'm really sorry for keep it secret and leaving you in the dark" Daichan hold Mao hand and make Mao face him.

"The truth is, I want to surprise you, by introduce you to my family. But it seem like I am the one to be surprised" Daichan smile fondly and guided –still-confused Mao get into the room and pull him gently to sit beside Daichan, never let go Mao's hand in the proses and then put their entwined finger on Daichan lap, before continue to introduce his family

"This is my father, mother and elder sister" the Watanabe smile and nodding their head a little as Daichan introduce them

"Your parents ?. But you said that you have lost contact with them" ask Mao after give the elders respectful bow, lean in so only Daichan who could hear it. While the others exchange stories as they drink and eat the cuisine

"Yes, until a year ago, I return to my home town and meet them. Of course they turn me down at first, but after pleaded and merciless apologize, they accept me, I'm their son after all"

"Wow, Daichan I'm so happy for you and proud too"

"Yeah, thanks to you and your parent requirements"

"My parent requirement, for what?"

"Something belong to them that i really want and longing for, something to die for" Daichan pinch the nose of the adorable yet lost Mao before continued

"Your aniki told me that, if I can let it go and life without it, I should fight for it instead"

"So this past year, I been work hard and diligently to win your parent heart and permission, and one of their condition is a blessing from my parent"

"And what your parent blessing to do with my parent permission?" Daichan smiled before take Mao hand that he been holding all along, and kiss it.

"The reason why we are here right now"

Daichan stand up and clear his throat to draw attention at him and start his speech

"Mr. and Mrs. Hamao, Ryonosuke-san, Sumire-san, and our lovely Chunchun. Today as planed, I bring my parent and my sister to the meeting that I proposed to you. None other to officially ask for your consent to take Maokun's hand in marriage"

"I have been in love with Mao for so long. But I don't have courage to pursue him or his love. All I can do is support him and help him to pursue his dream and happiness. But it becomes complicated when I realize that he no longer sees me as his older brother"

"The truth is, it's scared me, at that time I believe that, to be with me will ruin his future, his career and his relationship with his family. But love is something that you couldn't control. It's seem like the more I'm suppress my feeling, the more it's grow and stronger. And I assume the same thing goes with Mao"

"So I guess I don't have another choice than to face my fear, and take all risk. Because like Mao said before, I can't imagine my life without him, in my case, I can't even breathe, even for a single thought that he smiles lovingly to someone else. I love your son and I promise you I will love him, cherish him and protect him with all my might"

Daichan kneel before everybody and bow respectfully

"Please, give Mao-kun to me and your blessing as well, because I know how much he loves and cherish his family"

"Daichan, as his parent all we can do is prays for his happiness. As long as he is happy, our blessing is always with him. So Daichan I think that the one who you should ask is not us, but that teary eyes boys over there" and by that all eyes are on the poor boys whose cover his red face, trying to hold his tear. Daichan shift his gaze to Mao, smile fondly and reach his coat pocket. Approaching Mao with a small red box in his hand, kneeling before Mao and take his hand

"Hamao Kyousuke, my love, will you accept me to be yours, will you stay by my side, no matter what ? will you be my partner in crime ?" Mao eyes widen in disbelief, his memory back to the love scene in takumi series, the scene that shake his heart. And he decide to come along with the flow

"That... sound kind of like a proposal" Daichan smirk, so Mao still remember his line

"Just answer me..." a single tear escape from Mao eyes, with his slightly trembling hand, Mao put his free hand on Daichan neck with his thumb stroke Daichan jawline

"After all that happen before, do you really have to ask?" Daichan lean in Mao's palm in his neck

"Just answer me..." his voice softened

"Okay, Daisuke..., I'll be your accomplice. I'll be by your side forever" Daichan kiss Mao hand in his, and opened the little red box that he held, reveal a pair of simple yet beautiful golden ring with each name engraved on it as 'Daisuke's love' and 'Kyousuke's lover'. Daichan take one of it and put it on Mao's ring finger and Mao do the same. As soon as Daichan rise and embrace his lover, who hides his blushing face in Daichan chest, everyone who watched the scene cheered and cheerful atmosphere enveloped them.

"I love you Daichan"

"I love you too my kawaii baby boy"

"Forever ?" Mao smile as Daichan lean in and kiss his lips gently, whisper in soft and loving voice

"Until death do us apart"
