Chapter 33

{ Madison Hill}

"I'm so sorry sweetie you've lost your baby" the doctor tells me handing me tissues from the box.

"I-I-I'ts Okay" I wiped the tears that were coming from my eyes.

"We'll give you a few minutes" she leaves me and Mateo in the room.

"I'm sorry" he says looking down at the hospital floor.

"It's always "I'm sorry" HOW THE HELL YOU THINK I FEEL?" I yell at him

"Man Bye I don't have time for this shit, go ask your Isaiah's father to pick you up" he leaves out the hospital room.

I pick up my phone from my purse scrolling to find someone to pick me up.

At this point I just wish the baby made it instead of myself.

I've done things I know that's been wrong but this time I wanna right my wrongs so I won't have to keep hiding things.

I don't want Isaiah growing up to be like me, I want him to be 100% honest with me all the time.

And today I'm gonna show him that.....

We ended up driving to a very lowkey town about eight hours away from our previous destination.

We wanted to go out the country but with Jessica being pregnant we couldn't exactly do that.

Riding in the car was our only option, so we had to make the best use of it.

"Babygirl" Xavier wraps his arms around me "Yeah?" I say looking up at him.

"You good?" He kisses my neck softly making me get butterflies inside.

"I'm good baby thank you" I kiss his cheek and sit down next to Jessica.

"So what if Mateo finds us?" Jess says eating peanut butter out of the container.

"First of all fat head, why are you in my peanut butter again?" He says.

"Because I'm not just feeding myself, I'm feeding two people"

"True, but to answer your question, right now Mateo hasn't tracked us yet but when he does find us I'm pretty sure we're all dead" 

"So reassuring babe" I pat his back.

"What? You want me to sugarcoat it cuz we all gon die"

"Nawl I'm good fam" Jessica says getting up from the couch

We knew he was coming......... but we didn't know when.........

This chapter sucked 😭 but it was long overdue. I'm sooo sorry I've been so busy with life and everything.
