*Stephanies POV*

My eyes widened and my body quickly reacted to the sound of the door opening. I quickly began to shake Justin. He moaned and wrapped an arm around me, trying to make me lie down with him.

"Justin! Up now! My moms here!" I panicked.

He quickly hopped up as scared as I was. "WHAT?" He yelled in a whisper.

"I know!" I jumped and pushed him towards the closet as I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. "Get in."

I pushed him in the closet and closed the door, quickly sitting back on my bed and going on my phone, trying to act normal.

I was just in time because at that moment, my mother walked in the door.

She was dressed in her work outfit with her purse over her shoulder and her keys in her hand.

"Hey.." She said quietly.

"Hi." I said awkwardly.

She leaned against the door and sighed. "You know, I'm sorry that I was freaking out about everything but I just really want you to continue to do good things and I dont want you hanging out with the wrong people."

I nodded. "I'm not hanging with the wrong people."

"Holly. And whoever that boy was in that photo."

I cringed in embarrassment, knowing that Justin had most likely heard what she said.

"Hollys my best friend and Im not leaving her. And Justin, you don't know anything about him." I spoke up.

"Whatever, Stephanie." She said in an i dont care type of way.

It was quiet for a moment when there was a noise in the closet. Something had fallen.

My heart rate sped up, hoping my mom didn't hear it.

Her head jerked towards the closet. "What was that?"

"U-Uh nothing!" I said scooting closer towards it.

She scrunched up her face and walked over.

"Its nothing!" I said as she grabbed the handle.

She ignored me and the door flew open, revealing Justin backed up against the wall.

Her mouth opened widely. "What the hell!" She yelled. "What is going on!?"

I ran over to Justin, standing in front of him.

"M-Mom its nothing." I blinked about 10,000 times.

"Its NOTHING? W-who are you?" She stuttered.

"Uh J-Justin." He stepped out of the closet slowly. "I-I can go."

He began walking towards the door when my mom pushed him back.

"No! I want to know why you're here!" She yelled.

Then, my dad walked in my room. He was in his pajamas and bathrobe, rubbing his eyes.

"Honey, whats going on?" He asked my mom.

"I found this CREEP in Stephanies closet!" She pointed.

"I-I can explain." I began crying.

She screamed at me. I saw Justin flinching."I dont want to hear it, Stephanie!! I thought that you were better than this but obviously not. Here you are letting this low life in your room and in this house!"

"LEAVE HIM ALONE!!" I screamed to the top of my lungs. "You dont know ANYTHING about him so who are you to judge?"

I sobbed and ran into Justin's arms, stuffing my face into his chest.

My mom looked at me, surprised at what I was doing.

"Dont blame her. I let him come in the house and all they've done throughout the night was watch movies." My dad said calmly.

"WHAT!? Frank?" She called out my dads name. "You knew all about this? You let him into our home?"

"Listen, shes just a teenager falling in love. Let her experiment. Everyone will make mistakes and when she does, she will learn from them."

"Let her experiment? If she keeps hanging around with him she's going to end up pregnant and drugged!"

I've had it. I sobbed more and more and more. I couldn't focus. This was too much for me. I hid behind Justin and wrapped my arms around his waists.

"How could you say that about me? Im your daughter!" I peeked my head from behind him.

"It's the truth! You need to stop hanging around this boy! You dont even know him!"

I stepped in front, angry. "If I didn't know him, he wouldn't be here."

Justin heard the pain and hurt in my voice and he grabbed my waist, trying to comfort me.

Just then, my mom walked over to him and slapped him across the face.

"MOM!" I shouted, as Justin fell to the floor.

I kneeled down next to him and cried, rubbing his face.

"Alright! That was way too far!" My dad yelled. "You didn't have any right to put your hands on this young man."

"I dont care. He's trash and she does not deserve to be around someone like him!"

"Leave him alone!" I cried and grabbed his hand, pulling him downstairs.

I opened the front door and we stepped outside on the porch. I cried and cried and cried. I couldn't believe her.

"Come here." Justin said holding out his arms.

I covered my face, feeling my makeup streaming from my eyes. "I can't. This is so embarrassing."

"Baby..." He whispered. "It's okay."

I could hear his voice cracking.

"Justin no it's not. Your face.." I said.

"I dont care about that." He grabbed my hands. "The only thing that I care about is you."

"Justin...I can't do this. I want to kill her right about now."

"Shhh. Don't say that. She's your mother."

"I dont care. She can't tell me who to love." I said angrily.

"Baby. I don't want you to be around me. Your mom dosen't want me to and I don't want you in anymore trouble." I was about to hug him but stopped after he said that.

I shook my head. "No. I'm not leaving you."

"Stephanie. I cant let you do this. I cant have you in anymore trouble. I just cant." He looked me in the eyes.

"Do you love me?"

"Of course I do."

"If you loved me so much you wouldn't be pushing me away."

"Baby...I'm sorry." He walked up to me and I pushed him.

"No!" I screamed. "You dont love me!"

I broke down and sat down on the ground. Justin got down with me and wrapped me in his arms.

"Shhh. Stephanie, calm down. I do love you, I do."

"Please. Don't leave.." I begged.

"I cant stay here." He chuckled.

"I don't want to be here."

"You will be fine. All you need is some sleep. You're freaking out." He stroked my cheek.

"Please..talk to me tomorrow, Justin." I cuddled closer to him.

"I will, baby girl. I will."
