*Stephanie's POV*
It was Friday. A special Friday. It was the Friday of the last day of school. 1 minute left. I sat at the edge of my chair, waiting anxiously for the bell to ring, and for me to get the hell out of here. I was always the good kid in school. Got all the good grades, listened to the teacher, and actually focused in class. Most people thought that I had it all. Kids thought that I LOVED school but no. I hated it. I wanted to stab every last one of my annoying teachers and annoying classmates. All of them were annoying. Everyone except for my best friend Holly Mccormick. We've been best friends since the first grade. We never split up once. Now back to the teachers! Even though I hated most of them, I had no choice but to pretend to absolutely love one of them. Mrs. Lewis. She is my mothers best friend. They've known each other since they were in middle school. They're so close that she even comes to my house sometimes. While my mom finds it perfectly normal, I find it perfectly stupid and weird. I mean, who wants a teacher at their house? That's pretty awkward.
As everyone counted down chanting, "10, 9, 8, 7..." I was biting the corner of my lip, waiting for the bell to ring so that I could run out of the room. And when it did, I ran as I said I would. I'm pretty sure my teacher wanted to talk to me because I could hear my name being called.
"STEPHANIE!!! STEPHANIE WAIT!!" The teacher called. I ignored.
I ran to Holly's locker in my light washed Hollister shorts and my white cami and waited for her to finish clearing out her locker.
"Finally! FINALLY! No more school for a few months!!!" She threw her hands up.
"You're right. And did you forget that were done with high school? College is next, Holly!" I reminded her. We had ready had our high school graduation two days ago. I applied for a college that I'm pretty sure I was NOT going to get into. I mean, it was so professional. And I was no where near professional.
"Oh yeah damnit! Good thing we applied for the same college." She winked.
We walked out of school and began walking home. Holly, nor I, had cars. Holly's parents wouldn't get her a car because of her behavior. She was kind of a rebel child. The bad one. The misfit. She broke every rule in town. Shes even been to jail for shoplifting and fighting. My parents wouldn't get me a car because they didn't think I needed one. That obviously was the dumbest thing they could ever say. Even though I didn't live far from home, I would be going to college soon, if I got accepted.
"So, its Friday night. Lets do something." She said as she clumsily walked by my side.
I shrugged. "Sure. Like what?"
"Tobias is having a HUGE party tonight. You need in!" Tobias was her boyfriend and he was right up her alley because he also was known as "The Badass".
"Ehh I don't know. Teenage parties. Drugs. Sex." I stereotyped.
"Come onnnnnn! It'll be fun!" She said as she began to walk up to her porch. "Think about it!! If you don't go you'll regret it!"
