Mel was so beautiful standing there, her blonde hair curling and billowing in the crisp wind. Her pine green eyes ringed in gold stood out against the dank gray fog. She was wearing a short but modest Forest green tunic that accented her eyes and complimented her hair. She took my breath away standing so defiantly with wisps of fog curling up and around her ankles, and legs. Mel followed my gaze and blushed profusely. I couldn't help but smirk. She hardened her gaze and pursed her lips. I searched her gaze and face for any sympathy anything to suggest the girl I had once loved still existed. I found nothing but the cruel spark of hatred I had ignited.
