I loved Noah, I relived I always had and always will. I had mulled over his word from last night and found I could reflect them back to him.i needed his to know he was mine, I had forgiven him entirely. I needed him like I had never needed anyone else before. I got up in a hurry and dressed in a flowing pine green dress that complimented my eyes and hair. I took a deep breath and stalked to door, I flung it open and made to take a step outside only to find Noah there with a bemused and bewildered expression on his face. His arm was raised as if to knock on the door, oh.
"Hey Mel, uh I wanted to uh say some uh stuff." A grin split my face and I threw myself at Noah and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Oh Noah. Can you find it in you heart to let me go first." I looked into his deep beautiful eyes and could feel his heat leaching into my body, slowly warming my bones and heart. He opened his mouth and mummerd, "anything for you Mel," against my hair. I leaned my head on his broad chest and listened to his rapid heartbeat, " Noah, I love you." Noah pressed me against him with his strong grip and said, "I love you to Mel. I promise I will protect you with my life."
I drifted into his embrace. We stayed like that for the rest of the day curled up against each other. Cuddling in my armchair watching my icy hot fire flicker in the hearth. When we finally spoke again it was dark outside.
"Noah, I wish that everyday could be like this one." "I will try to make that happen to the best of my ability." I tilted my head up to look at his beautiful face. "No I love you." Noah looked down at me and smiled and pressed his lips against my hair. Selena chose this moment to jump up on my lap and curl up purring.
I took the kitten in my hand and gently set her on the ground. I stood up slowly and turned to face Noah. I took his hand and led him to the couch where we lay down and talked until our eyes dropped and we fell asleep, hands interlocked together
