Brendon walked up to the smoothie shack, cringing at the overplayed pop music blasting from the radio on the wooden counter. That stuff was never really his thing.
Brendon sighed and looked at the menu, deciding what he wanted."Welcome to Ross' Smoothies, how may I help you?" The boy behind the counter asked, grabbing Brendon's attention.
Brendon took his gaze from the menu to the boy behind the desk. He nearly choked on his spit because of how damn beautiful he was.
Brendon didn't even like boys, but fucking hell was that guy attractive.
His wavy curls, (most likely from the saltwater), and his honey-brown eyes made Brendon stare for a few good seconds."Are you alright, sir?" The boy asked, snapping Brendon out of his slight trance.
Brendon shook the thoughts off of his mind and apologized.
"I'm sorry, you made me zone out. Can I have two greenberries?"
The boy nodded. "Of course. Oh, and was that a compliment?"
Brendon chuckled. "Oh, yeah, it was. Was it good? I'm not really good at this stuff."
The other laughed, slightly throwing his head back. "Aw, it was fine. What's your name, if you don't mind me asking."
Brendon smiled, knowing this thing was going better than he expected. "I'm Brendon. What's yours?"
"Ryan." The other replied. "Nice to meet you."a/n - another part from a book I abandoned.
