Chapter 4

Oh my God what was I thinking?! Ugh I'm so stupid! I hear a knock at my door. "It's Keith. C'mon Lance open up." Oh no. What do I do my letters are everywhere. "Just a sec!" I rush to hide the letters and open the door cause my door is the only door that has opening requests... Which is weird but I mean I'm battling aliens so it's whatever. Try to be cool Lance. You're the womanizer of the galaxy or maninizer... Hunk seriously needs help. "So whats- uh" I clear my throat "What's up man?" I lightly punch Keith's shoulder. "Are you okay?" Keith asks. "Oh yeah I'm fine" I lie. "Okay... Well, I wanted to apologize for running into you earlier." Keith says and leaves. The door closes. I sight a breath of relief. Oh man. Did Keith notice the letters?! Oh man I need Hunk. I leave my room and go to Hunks. "Oh hey best-" He starts "I need your help Hunk. Allura is the only person I've come out to." I say. "What do you mean? Lance are you...gay?" "No! I still like girls" A sigh of relief comes from Hunk. "But... I kinda like Keith... Like, like like him" Hunk just sits there. "C'mon Hunk say something" I'm scared of what he might think. I mean Allura was pretty chill about it but this... This is my best friend. We've known each other for years. My family was his family and his family was mine.  "Um, is there anything else I should know before you go to tell Allura?" He looks mad. "What do you mean Hunk?" "Oh you know exactly what I mean. Lance, we're supposed to best friends. We tell each other everything. Even if it's not important and this subject seems pretty important. Why would you hide something so important from your best friend that you've known your entire life but tell somebody you've known for like a year?" Oh man. I screwed up. I don't know what to say at this point cause what he basically said is true. "You're right. I should've come to you first. But I didn't know how you'd react." I say "It would've been a better reaction than this one." Hunk says. There's a long pause then Hunk breaks it "But since I am the second person to know, then I'll get over it." I hug him "You scared me for a moment I thought we weren't gonna be friends again" An announcement comes on. It's Shiros voice "Lance come to the lounge room please." I let go of Hunk and leave after saying goodbye. I wonder what Shiro wants.
