Those words ringed around her head ever since, she couldn't take it off of her mind, it was as if it was done on purpose.

To make her never forget.

To make her regret.

Kokichi was always teasing her in more ways than she would have ever thought. He was always there to point at her, to suspect her, to call her ugly and to break into pieces the already low self-esteem she had.

Yeah, she knew he was a terrible guy.

Yet, he was the only who understood how she felt. How much she wanted to cry. How much she wanted to break out of her shell. He was the one who made her realize it was really okay, just like Tenko, that it was a perfectly human thing to cry when sad and that there was no need to hide it, that there was no need to hold back.

Thanks to him she was able to cry to her heart's content.

But why?

Why was it that she only felt remorse towards him after the trial?

After,
Kokichi had died?

She never knew he felt that way towards her. She knew, that it could have been a lie but Kaito wasn't the type to lie, even if he was acting as Kokichi at the time. And after all, Kokichi was the one who told Kaito that he should respond that way towards Himiko.

Was it her fault that she never took notice?
Or was it his?

She wouldn't even be able to apologize, or reject him anymore as his putrefied body still laid there, underneath the hydraulic press. It squished him as thin as paper. No one even bothered to even enter the room, the smell of his blood was pungent.

With all those thoughts in her mind, spinning like a hurricane in her mind she fell asleep, letting a tear out.
