Chapter 9 : It's A Girl!

After some relaxing time on the Beach yesterday, you and Eren decided to do daily checkup at the hospital and the fact that you're curious whether you'll have a son or daughter.

Well, it'll make baby shopping more easy too.

And now you're at the hospital with Eren to check the baby by doing some ultrasound scan, the doctor, Hanji Zöe is Eren's acquaintance, She's seems like a jolly and happy go lucky doctor because she teases Eren a lot for having a girlfriend, you couldn't help but laugh at how embarrassed he was and you thought it was cute, "Alrighty! Let's not waste any time, So Miss (L/N) or should I say Mrs.Jaeger..." she snickered wiggling her eyebrows in teasing manner resulting Eren glared at her with dark red face, She then clear her throat and continue "...You can lay down there! Let me check my preparation first!" You nodded and do as she said, Eren sits next to you and smiled at you.

"I'm nervous" you said as you hold his hand, he firmly gripped it "Don't worry (Y/N) I'm pretty sure your baby will be fine" you playfully glared at him "Scratch that, you know they're your baby too now" Eren smiled and pressed his forehead against yours "You have the point" "Alrighty you lovey dovey couple! Let's see how's the baby doing there!" She then used some jelly like clear liquid on your stomach which made you hissed in surprise on how cold it was, Eren just snickered at your reaction

"I don't see anything wrong with the baby, they're doing well there!" Hanji exclaimed as she kept looking at the bulk computer.

Minutes past, you are finished with the ultrasound examination, you just wait for the results with Eren holding your hand and smiling at you, later on, Hanji came back with paper on her gloved hands and sit down "So, you really want to know what you two are going to have?"

"Basically that's why we're here"

Eren retorted impatiently, you could tell he was being sarcastic as well which made you giggled, Hanji laughed in response "Point taken, and congratulations you two, It's a girl!"

You couldn't hide your excitement when you hear that you're about to have a daughter, Eren can't even keep his straight face and probably smiling like an idiot.

"The due date is Around 25 August, if you need my help in birth process just let me know!" Hanji smiled and adjusted her glasses as you smiled "Thank you so much, Dr.Zöe!"

"Oh honey, you can just call me Hanji instead! Again, congratulations you two! Especially for you Jaeger, being a dad is lotta responsibility for your little princess there!" She nudges Eren playfully "I know that, you don't have to tell me twice" you giggled, after that, you bid farewell to Hanji and leave the hospital with smiling face, hugging Eren's arm as he smiling like an idiot throughout your way home.
