Chapter 14 : Taking Care A Child for The First Time

Few days later...

After Adelle's birth, you and Eren decided to ask both of your mom about "How to take care of a child" since you never did before, your mom and Carla gladly teach you how to do so "As a starter let us teach you how to carry her!"

As Carla demonstrate it with one of your dolls, you and Eren watched her closely and do what she demonstrate to you "Good going, you both are natural" she smiled (and inwardly surprised that her inexperienced son can do parenting stuff this good in all honesty).

Next lesson, How to change a diaper

Your mom instruct you to carefully lay her down, once you lay down her small and fragile body on the bed as your mom told you which cloth and pin should you use on her, sometimes you internally freaked out which is which, Eren would try to calm you down and help you find the suitable for your daughter, Your mom and Carla can only laugh at how clumsy you both are.

Third lesson is "How to bathe the baby properly"

"To make her comfortable while having a bath, you both have to use a lukewarm water" Your mom said as she filled the baby tub with lukewarm water, you watched her closely while holding Adelle as she played with your shirt with her small hand "And then...hold her while you bathe her, don't forget to wash her from head to toe" Carla explained as you do what she said carefully, Eren watched while having a silly grin on his face, he thought was cute.

Well, taking care of your child for the first time was quite difficult indeed, but you actually have fun with it since you do it together with Eren and the moms gladly help you with this stuff.

3 hours of parenting training session later...

"...and, put her on the crib carefully then finally, tuck her in" Carla instruct you as you lay the sleeping Adelle on her crib and tucked her in, you and Eren can't help but smiling at her cute sleeping face.

"That's all for today, I think you both don't need us anymore!" Your mom smiled as she cracked her neck a bit, you smiled at her "Thanks to you and Mrs.Jaeger, I think we can do it all by ourselves" Eren smiled and nodded in agreement, Carla smiled at both of you "Ahh well now that it's done, I would love to have a cup of tea, what about you (Mom's name)?" She said as she look at your mom and she nodded in agreement "Sounds great, Carla, well you two, have fun!" They smiled and went back to kitchen leaving you and Eren with sleeping Adelle, Eren wrapped his arms around you and smiled at you "Guess we make a great parents for Adelle, eh?" You giggled and kissed his cheek "Seems like so" Eren chuckled and kissed your forehead then look at Adelle again.

"She looked so angelic when she sleeps" you smiled at her "Yeah...just like her mom, when she sleeps and talk in her sleep" you blushed and glared at Eren while he just laughing

"You're an idiot" you pout childishly which made him giggled and kissed your cheek

"Maybe I am, But I'm your idiot"
