<< PART ONE >>

The trio walked out to see the ship they had been following completely smashed and burning from the crash landing which had caused a lot of the landscape to ruin. It wasn't the best of planets to choose. Especially since the ship had crashed into an age old structure and absolutely obliterated the fine architecture.

"What made it crash?" Nina spoke up through the roaring fires of the crash sight as she stood next to River, the woman who gave answers.

"Not me." She was quick to reply with a barely interested look.

"Nah, the airlock would have sealed seconds after you blew it." The Doctor commented, standing beside them. "According to the Home Box, the warp engines had a phase-shift. No survivors."

"A phase shift would have to be sabotage. I did warn them." River sang.

"About what?" Nina asked, poking her curly head between River and the Doctor who were having a battle of knowledge.

River ignored her. "Well, at least the building was empty. Aplan temple. Unoccupied for centuries." River began typing away at a contraption she pulled from somewhere, leaving the Doctor to take a hold of Nina's elbow and guide her away, over to Amy.

"So, are you going to introduce us?" Amy asked smugly to the frowning Doctor. He sighed but did so anyway.

"Amy Pond, Professor River Song."

River snatched around at his words with a dramatic gasp. "I'm going to be a professor someday, am I?" She asked with a playful smirk that made the time lord scrunch his face in annoyance. "How exciting." She giggled, turning around. "Spoilers."

Amy shared a look of amazement with Nina. "Who is she and how did she do that?"

"She left you a note in the museum!" Nina grinned at him excitedly making both him and Amy smile at her brightened face.

"Two things always guaranteed to end up in a museum. The Home Box is category-four starliner and, sooner or later, him." River announced happily at his grim face and especially at Amy and Nina's impressed expressions. "It's how he keeps score."

Nina snorted at the reiteration of Amy's earlier words and skipped over to River, along with her redheaded friend. "It's hilarious, isn't it?" Amy grinned between him and River.

The Doctor though, wasn't having as good of a time. "I'm nobody's taxi service! I'm not going to be there to catch you every time you feel like jumping out of a spaceship." He chastised River who only smiled blissfully.
